I had to bring my son in for severe inflammation on his toe due to an ingrown toenail. We were so grateful to be able to get in on the same day, and Dr. Barber was extremely thorough and made sure that my son was comfortable during the procedure, talked to him throughout it and really showed interest in his answers. Everything was done in a timely manner and he answered every question we had. It’s very clear that Dr. Barber knows his stuff . He even sent us a small at home care package so we didn’t have to buy more supplies for at home care. Truly the best podiatry experience we have ever had! My son has relief now and I’m very happy knowing he was taken care of so well. Also the staff was incredibly helpful with making the appointment and gave us several options for appointments since my schedule is a little crazy. We are definitely coming back and sharing his info to any family or friends who need a podiatrist. 100% recommend!

If I could give a zero I would I called almost two weeks ago for an appt for an infected toe they couldn’t see me until Jan 6 gave all my insurance info the day I called today the day before my appt they call and first they say they are not familiar with my primary insurance I explain to them how it works then she calls back about 20 minutes later and says we don’t take Medicare HMO I tell her it’s NOT an HMO I tell her that it’s always been PPO bc I have to travel out of state for medical and have to have ppo she doesn’t believe that I have PPO and instead of verifying again she CANCELS MY APPOINTMENT DOE TOMORROW JUAT LIKE THAT! TOTAL BS JUST REMEMBER WORD OF MOUTH CAN MAKE OR BREAK A BUSINESS. And they know i have a compromised immune system I have been on an antibiotic for this infection I needed help asap and know I have to start all over again of finding someone else. I think I will call the medical board of Texas and the place that protects people with disabilities and see what they say.

Our only goal is to protect you from any surprise bills or denied claims down the road.<br>When I personally checked your eligibility in the insurance system today, it confirmed that your Medicare Advantage plan was a PPO last year. However, as of January 1, 2026, it has changed and is now clearly listed as an HMO/POS plan (a Point of Service plan with HMO-like features, including the need for referrals). Unfortunately, our office is out of network with this specific 2026 plan, which is why we reached out as soon as we saw the update. My staff ran a fresh eligibility check the day before your scheduled visit, and that's when the change became evident.<br>It's very common for POS plans to be described or marketed in ways that sound almost identical to PPOs, and this kind of mix-up happens far more often than it should. I'm concerned that the differences may not have been explained clearly during your enrollment or renewal period, and I want to assure you—that lack of clarity definitely didn't come from our office. We're committed to being as transparent and helpful as we can be.<br>The very best next step is to give the insurance member services a quick call (the number is on the back of your insurance card). They'll be able to confirm everything directly, walk you through the current plan details, and answer any questions you have—so you'll have the complete and accurate picture straight from the source.<br>We truly care about helping you get the care you need without added stress or unexpected costs. In just a couple of months Dr. Barber is healing a chronic and painful issue I have had for two plus years. He tried something out of the norm and it's working! He truly cares- he spends as much time as necessary with you. The office staff is also exceptional! Thank you!!!

I had the absolute best experience with Dr. Barber and his entire staff. From talking to his office admin on the phone, to interacting with them in office, to meeting with Dr. Barber 10/10 experience. Everyone is so incredibly warm, kind, welcoming, and energetic. Dr. Barber spent a good bit of time with me - I was quite surprised. Pleasantly surprised! I highly recommend this office.

I am relatively new as a patient of Dr. Barber, but so far I have had an excellent experience with his practice. The office staff is very helpful and everyone has been courteous. I've been able to have a painful toenail issue treated and Dr. Barber has been very good at managing my pain during treatment. I'm glad that I was able to find them here in Denton.

Dr. Barber and his staff were incredibly diligent in scheduling my appointment at the earliest opportunity (within 48 hours)! His team was very professional, courteous and welcoming. Dr. Barber was very thorough and thoughtful in his examination, and was careful to ensure I understood available treatment options, providing immediate relief from pain and discomfort. If you have the need for podiatric care, make the call to Dr. Barber's office and experience professional, compassionate service that won't take weeks to schedule.

This is an absolute excellent practice. Their staff is awesome and Dr Barber is very thorough with his examination and explanations. He is diligent in prescribing an excellent plan to get you back to walking normal again. Highly recommend
