These are wonderful people and they always do a great job! I have been coming to them for about 18 months. All three of them have cut my hair during that time and they all do a consistently excellent job.

This are not regular barber's they are masters. Perfect haircut every time. Fancy does not mean better. This is the place to go for that excellent hair cut. And it is in fact a very nice small place.

The other reviews say it all. Mai and Thomas are truly excellent at what they do and try their best to make you feel taken care of even less than an hour before closing (when they most certainly must be tired). All in all, this is the best 20 dollar haircut I’ve ever gotten, and it doesn’t look like a 20 dollar haircut!

This is a gem hidden in plane sight. Right in front of HEB! Mai was amazing with my toddler, great place for a first time cut. My haircut came out sharp as well, thanks to Mr. Paul.

Mai’s is great. They do a good job of treating you like family and provide a good cut for a great price. They are also really good at cutting my 2.5 year old son’s hair.

Thomas, Mai and her sister are amazing beyond words. They also have the patience of angels. Thomas gave both of my autistic teenagers the best haircuts of their lives. They both had very grown out hair. They didn’t know exactly how to explain what they wanted, but he still figured it out. My kids have sensory issues as well and they were very good with that too. Thomas took his time really making sure their hair was perfect. My husband got an amazing haircut as well by Yan (if this is not the right spelling I apologize). I highly recommend this amazing barbershop right by HEB.

Mai’s Barber Shop also cuts women’s and girls hair too! 💁‍♀️ We came from another shop that cut my kids’ hair very bluntly. This shop is amazing, they fixed the problems other shops created and they truly treat you like family. I really appreciate how they listen to each individual’s desires and customize the styles to fit each person uniquely. My sons are confident in their cuts and my girls are 100% happy with the cuts they get. I come here for my trims and Mai takes the time to be attentive to my requests. Come be loved on. This shop is such a blessing to our family!

My son is super picky and hasn’t been happy with the hair cut salons near us. We gave this place a try and it didn’t disappoint. My son was super happy and I’m so glad he now has a barber shop close to home. The staff was super nice and friendly. They even over snacks and drinks.
