It's a hit or miss when trying out different salons, and I was hesitant at first to try this one because I've had not-so-good experiences previously. But the staff here are very welcoming and provided exceptional service to me and my mom's hair. She had a stroke recently, so she is slower and not wanting to go to places as much. The stylists treat her and I as family and are patient and articulate when doing my mom and I's hair. I decided to do a hair transformation with balayage highlights, haircut with face framing, wash, style, and blow dry package which values around $185. Victoria is an expert at what she does because not only did she do exactly what I asked for, but she goes beyond and suggests extra things such as adding multiple layers because it complements my face shape. She mixed in the perfect dyes to make my hair a bronzy warm brown color which turned out better than I thought. And she also asks what you think and is attentive to what you need. JP washed my hair and Mary helped put the highlights on my hair. I noticed that each stylist took their time with each client, and was very precise to the details on everybody's hair. They all did a nice job, and my mom and I hope to come back again! This place is affordable for the services they provide and is in a good area at Cypress. Victoria is fabulous! I Bring my mom here to get her haircut she is in a wheelchair and they always welcome us and Victoria takes such good care of my mom and makes her feel fabulous by the time she is done. I would highly recommend this establishment to everyone. It’s clean and accommodating.

M.K Hair Studio is truly top-tier. Daniel & Victoria were amazing. I came in as a last-minute walk-in and was blown away by their availability and how smoothly everything was handled. From the moment I walked in, the experience felt elevated, professional, and intentional. I booked a wash, haircut, and style, and every step was executed with care and expertise. My hair was treated so gently, the cut was perfectly tailored, and the final style was flawless — soft, polished, and full of movement. I walked out feeling refreshed, confident, and honestly beautiful. You can tell they take real pride in their craft and their clients. It was a last minute hair appointment but luckily they were able to fit me in their busy schedule. I was more than satisfied with how my hair came out. She really saved me especially it being the night before thanksgiving. I recommend this place 10/10

I had my haircut done by Victoria, and she did an amazing job! I absolutely love my bob cut — it came out clean, stylish, and exactly how I wanted. She paid attention to every detail and made the whole experience so comfortable. Highly recommend her if you want a fresh and beautiful look! 💇‍♀️✨

I wish I could explain the experience I had in full detail but it truly was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon. I walked in and showed them a CLEAR reference photo of what I wanted. Color and style was very clear to understand. I have hair dresser experience but obviously can’t see the back of my head which is why I came here, I noticed wayyy too many flaws in the application. They originally didn’t put any bleach in my hair which is necessary to achieve the color I was hoping for. They claimed they were finished but my hair looked exactly the same besides the fact that they cut off like 5 inches of hair. I GREW MY HAIR OUT FOR THIS HAIRSTYLE. I asked them to do it exactly like the photo and they said “bleach isn’t healthy” NO SHIT!! I need the bleach but there’s delicate ways of applying. She left my hair developing for way too long after applying, it started to burn. I was concerned but she was working on other clients so I couldn’t let her know. She then asked for help and another person started helping her bleach my hair (they were extremely rough with my scalp and ear piercings) THEY DID TWO DIFFERENT THINGS ON EACH SIDE OF MY HEAD. When I got upset they said “it’s because you were a walk in, next time set an appointment” LIKE WHAT!!? You could’ve told me when I came in “hey since you don’t have an appointment, we’re gonna ruin your hair” I wouldn’t have stayed. They asked me to sit at the washing chair and I waited for so long (WITH DEVELOPER STILL ON MY SCALP) I waited for so long that I fell asleep, by the time I woke up they were closed and she was still there working on other things like sweeping and cleaning. She apologized and washed my hair. But my hair looked so bad I wanted to cry. It was wayyy shorter and looked nothing like the photo. Now I have to wait to grow out my hair to go to an ACTUAL hair dresser. This place is an absolute mess. I included pictures of the reference and what I got. My hair is literally FRIED at the ends. I SPENT A TOTAL OF 6 HOURS AT THIS SALON. My scalp was so painful and literally BLEEDING for a whole 3 weeks. I also added photos of my scalp

Just got my hair done today, and I’m absolutely obsessed! I went in for a peekaboo style with vibrant pink underneath and wow, it turned out better than I imagined. Jay, my stylist, truly brought the vision to life. Not only did they take the time to understand exactly what I wanted, but they also made the whole experience super fun and relaxed.

This is my third time going to KM Studio, and I’ve loved every experience I’ve had with Victoria (Kim). She is truly passionate about her job, cautious while cutting your hair, and takes good care of her clients. It’s hard to find a stylist that makes sure there are even layers, and she is the person to go to. The other workers are also knowledgeable. I love how she listens to me, even though she might have her opinion as a stylist: this time I decided to listen to her recommendation and love my new hair cut! Thank you Victoria (Kim)!!

Today was my first time at M.K. Hair and I’m BLOWN AWAY! I’ve had so many bad experiences with other salons in the past that I had forgotten what simple customer service and quality care was supposed to feel like. Thank you M.K. Hair and thank you Jay for the flawless execution today. I will be going back for regular maintenance, washes and styles as often as I possibly can. What a breath of fresh air to have such a beautiful experience especially when quality service seems to be on a decline. I’m so happy to have found a home for haircare!
