These guys were quick, knowledgeable, and super friendly. Gave me exactly what I was looking for and despite me cutting off several inches of long hair which was long overdue, he was able to bring me back into the professional realm. While I was here I also saw multiple guys get their haircut and it looked like they were walking out of a magazine. I can't imagine going anywhere else from this point forward.

Crazy that in 2026 people still discriminate. As the barber sat on his phone, in Spanish he said No he wouldn't cut my hair. All I wanted was a lining. Being new to Texas, I guess I need to learn where my money is welcomed and where it is not. God bless yall

I can assure you it was not a case of discrimination but surely a misunderstanding of whose turn it is to take a customer in Spanish. We have a specific system of taking customers in order of walk-ins and appointments. This place 1000% surprised me. I told the guy I had no clue what I wanted, my last place did a low taperd fade and thats all I know. The gentleman that took care of me was on absolutely on point. We couldn't communicate due to a language barrier. What I needed was translated (by who I assumed ran the shop) into the perfection that is my hair. Oh yeah, I'll be back for sure.

My son’s hair got butchered at a salon meant for kids. Decided to try Up and Up after reading the great reviews and they did an amazing job fixing it. They were busy but we didn’t have to wait at all. The barber was patient , he really took his time with my wiggly and fussy 2 year old. Couldn’t be happier!

Up and Up is hands down the best barbershop around! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The shop has a clean, modern vibe, and the team is incredibly professional and friendly. I brought my young son with me, and the barbers were so patient and kind with him. They made sure he felt at ease, took their time, and gave him a fresh cut that he absolutely loves. I also got my haircut, and the attention to detail was spot on — they truly know their craft. What I appreciate most is that Up and Up delivers consistency, quality, and a family-friendly atmosphere. It’s rare to find a barbershop where both a dad and his son can walk out feeling confident and happy with their cuts. We’ll definitely be coming back regularly. I visited the McKinney location . It was a walk-in and I had an immediate service. Nice hair cut. I look like a human being now. Well structured & organized. Great people, outstanding service. Great experience from start to finish!! Needed a quick haircut for my 8 year old son (on a Sunday afternoon) and they were able to accommodate me as a walk in with VERY LITTLE wait time, and communicated with me frequently regarding such. My son and I enjoyed playing on their PlayStation while we waited. Lol The haircut was absolutely TOP NOTCH!! My son has curly, wavy hair that is coarse, so finding a good style and cut has been a trial and error effort, but after today’s cut, this is a well suited look for him. Great atmosphere, clean shop, friendly and welcoming people! Mo, our barber, understood exactly what I was looking for and far exceeded my expectations! We will definitely be coming back!

I took my four year old son today for the first time and we had an amazing experience. I highly recommend David who was so great and gave my boy the best haircut ever! Will definitely be going back.

This place is awesome! The Barbers are profesional and friendly. The place is very clean and well maintained. Every cut has attention to detail and you come out looking like a brand new person!

David was exceptional!!! He listened and conversed about what would work best with my hair. He was quick and did the best job on a haircut, that I've ever had. I highly recommend him and this barber shop!!!
