Extremely unprofessional!!!!! didn't like my haircut and they were extremely rude worse baber shop I ever went to. Will not be coming back Who charges 20$ for a 4 year old hair cut ? You can only speak to certain barbers if you have an appointment or they won’t greet you

I have been a customer at "Uptown Cuts" from elementary until now. Due to a new work schedule I had to miss an appointment. Saturday, 9/23, a few minutes after 7:00 I enter "It's The Cut" shop. I was aware of the charge for coming after 7:00 because it was posted on the wall. Understandable. I approach a barber who was finishing up a client and ask if there was a barber available for a taper fade. Another barber was glued to the TV, watching college football. I sat against the wall and asked for a place to charge my phone. After an OK from the barber who was busy, I walk to the nearest open outlet which apparently was next to the other barber who was watching tv. I knew it was his section because not long after I plug my phone in and sat down he peels his eyes away from the tv and says "If you're not getting a haircut by me, you can't sit in my chair." I ask if he would be able to cut my hair and he refused. So I decide to take a chair that was against the wall and moved it close enough to access my phone. Then he says "and what I meant by that is I do not want you sitting in my area, period." I get up and ask if there was another outlet I could use because the only outlet on the other side of the wall was occupied. I definitely felt unwanted as a customer and I started to get up and leave. Only after noticing I was headed out the door did he offer me a haircut. Of course I declined, because I highly doubt my haircut would have been done with the attention and expertise I was expecting and he certainly didn't deserve a dime from me..

Well I’ll be going in tomorrow morning to find out if I can have these barbers be my weekly barber for here on out. Hopefully as far as I know if they can get me a good cut every single week that’s all I need after a brain surgeries I need some of that basically a doctor I’m cutting hair will find out tomorrow but so far the gentleman I spoke with on the phone was very nice and informative. And help me figure out how to get in there on a good time so I couldn’t ask for anything better so far I will review again after I get my hair did

For a first experience, and i just needed a quick line up cause my primary barber was not available. I was confused about the pricing once i was done. It said $12 for edge up but i was charged $20 and i really didn’t get a good explanation. All he said was “ you good”. I really need my black barbers to step it up on keep your clients in the loop hole and up to date on things versus what i see on the poster on the wall. but i digress...carry on. I have had way better line up jobs than what i got. This line up is TRASH for $20. It was not even worth it! Y’all need to STEP UP your clientele.

How I judge a black barbershop: Can most people cut? Usually if you walk in you are scared to choose someone because they might be the "bad barber", but here I feel like they expect you to be good at cutting or you not at the shop cause everyone I saw was capable. No bad fades or line ups. My guy Russ be on point for me but you can hit up any and be straight. Walk-in vs appointment? When it's busy hours it can be like 5-6 barbers in the shop so you will wait, but not too long for a walk in, but you should make an appointment if you got somewhere to be. If you call their main phone someone always picks up which is good. They're personable and get you right. How are the vibes? This is key for any shop, and it's just a great atmosphere here. If you like football this is the place to rep your team and talk your talk. Sports and life be coming up and it's natural, ain't nufin forced. They just show love to the people coming through. Can you cut multiple races hair? Although I didn't see anyone in the chair a different race, I've seen some white guys walk in and out of the place so they must be good at all hair types. Also they have the equipment that looks like they're prepared for anyone that walks through the door Please like if this helped you out 💯

Friendly environment. Good location. Charles is my barber and he’s very efficient. Does all he can to make sure you’re satisfied with your haircut. Doesn’t have long wait times either. Check him and the rest of the staff out.

I relocated to Dallas 5 years ago and was looking for a new barbershop. After getting cuts from several places and not being satisfied I found a home at it's the cut barbershop. I have always received top notch hair cuts and service. The barbers are friendly and make the overall experience one that makes you want to return. CJ

My son has been a customer since they've opened. He's very picky about his line & haircut!! He's never been disappointed!! Every barber here has mad skills!! This place is Amazing!!! Did I mention very professional?? A must visit.

Place is very nice! I go there every Friday and have been for more than five years. I get my haircut done by the owner who's the best to me but they also have very nice barbers in there as well. I highly recommend this place and the owners fixed it up more and it's bigger now and continues to grow. Place going up, get on while the getting is good. 👍🏾☝🏾️

This place is fantastic. My youngest son loves the way they cut his hair and always comes back with a story to tell from one of the Barbers. Another of my boys just had a good 11 inches of hair cut off for his first job and went with a classic cut. The Barber did an excellent job working with all of that hair and it was nice to see how flexible they are in not just doing the modern buzz cut and angle styles.They are wonderful with teenagers and have always been gentlemen. This group of men serve as fine role models for young men right from the convenience of a neighborhood barber shop!
