I can’t say enough about Kevin. He takes his time, pays attention to detail, and makes sure the cut is exactly what I’m looking for. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about their craft, this is your guy!

I can’t speak highly enough of Kevin and Stag Head. Went in for a hair cut and beard trim (first time there) and can honestly say that it’s the best cut I’ve gotten. In addition to the great cut and beard trim, Kevin was great to talk to - looking forward to future conversations!

-And pursuant to his response , also a liar! I arrived 14 minutes past apptm time and was willing to wait , not 40 minutes! And i apologized!!!!! Read my review, i'm telling the story exactly how it happened, do not try to gaslight me and make it sound like i disrespected you or treated you with an attitude, The one who needs a respect lesson is you not me! Unbelievable! I have never felt so unwelcome anywhere before. The owner of this business could benefit from improving his customer service skills — you can’t run a customer-facing business and treat people with sarcasm or dismissiveness. The only reason I’m writing this review is in the hope that it prevents someone else from having the same experience. Here’s what happened: I first called on Saturday to see if I could come in, and I was told they were fully booked. I then asked if they accepted walk-ins, and the answer was “yes” — yet I was told they were still full. That alone felt contradictory. I decided to make an appointment for Monday at 1:30 PM. Unfortunately, I arrived at 1:44 PM because I couldn’t leave work earlier. The shop was completely empty when I arrived, yet the owner told me, “I have a 2 PM appointment, so I can’t do your son’s haircut — I can’t do a good job in 15 minutes.” While I understand wanting to give clients quality service, what I don’t understand is why he didn’t offer an alternative time or ask if I’d like to wait. Instead, his tone made it seem as though I was inconveniencing him. When I apologized, explaining that I left work as soon as I could, he still didn’t offer a solution — and then sarcastically asked, “Oh, so it’s my fault, right?” That was incredibly disrespectful. I never implied it was his fault; I was simply frustrated that I was turned away without any options. If you run a barbershop, treating customers like they’re in trouble or in the military is not the way to keep them. You were highly recommended to me, but unfortunately, that recommendation ends here. I went to another shop — without an appointment — and while I had to wait a bit, they still took care of us. They’ve now earned both my business and my recommendation.

You showed up 40 minutes late to your son's appointment. No call, no apologies, no respect.<br>We do not tolerate bad attitudes and disrespectful behavior. <br><br>

i’m always super nervous getting a haircut for my longer hair because no one can really do it right. i came here and it’s by far the best reset haircut ive received. kevin was awesome and very detailed about my needs for my hair.

Great barbershop! My fade turned out great, Cindy did a fantastic job! Customer service was great, price wasn't overly expensive, and the atmosphere was awesome especially with the dogs! Definitely will be returning for my next haircut!

Kevin is a master barber! I’ve had my hair long and I’ve had my hair short, and he’s always been knowledgeable on the cut, the style, the health, and the product to use. I dropped by because I went somewhere else in the area that ruined my hair, but he was able to fix it up and I’ve been a loyal customer ever since! Highly recommend Stag Head barbershop, the staff and atmosphere is top tier!

Its a shame that we can only leave 5 stars for such an awesome place. I took my 7yr old in for a cut and I can not stress that he does not like getting his hair cut... but the stylist Kevin was so patient with him and guided every step of the cut. I was amazed that it went so well for my child. Now for me I got the 2 for one special this evening Stylist Cindy cut and styled my hair for me and Kevin finished off with a beard trim and lineup. I can not stress how amazing this experience was for my first experience with them they have gained a long time client in me. GREAT JOB STAG HEAD BARBER SHOP we will definitely be returning. PS. be sure to show some love to Lucy and Marley the shop puppies.

I cannot say enough great things about this barber shop! My husband, 13 year old, and 9 year old have all gotten their hair cut here recently, and they are the BEST haircuts they have ever had! My 9 year old is hard to please, and he was beaming as he walked out today with complete glow up. They are the absolute best! They are cash only, so take cash with you!

Kevin is awesome. He got me in and fixed the worst haircut I have ever gotten from down the street. Extremely professional educated and knows what he is doing . He pointed out everything they did wrong and fixed it so my hair can grow out evenly. If you’re looking for a good barber in Arlington Kevin is your guy. Thank you again!
