Came here a couple weeks ago. I imagine it was the owner. Very awesome l, nice man. I’m an Army vet and they are very pro veteran. Love the vibe and the comfort of feeling like family in a new community.

My son who is 7 loves the cowboy life! He loves westerns and horses and anything that comes with it! We went to Allen Barber shop for the first time and the Barber conveniently names Roy Rodgers not only gave him the best hair cut he has ever had, but made him feel comfortable and relaxed during what is normally a stressful event! He watched a black and white western as he got his “cowboy” hair cut! He he was all done Ron gave him a cowboy buckle for his belt. We will be back each time my cowboy is looking a little shaggy. Thank you to Roy for making my sons day brighter!

We found Roy a few years ago after many failed haircuts with other stylists with our autistic son. He was afraid of the loud buzzing sound the clippers made. Roy has such a gentle nature and he let our son hold the clippers to show him they weren't going to hurt him. My son dubbed him "the nice guy" that day and we still call him that in our house. He's the only person our son wants to cut his hair to this day. I fear the day he retires. As others have said, it is cash only and you will wait in line. The price however is very reasonable.

Roy always provides the best service, I don't trust anyone else with cutting my hair. Cash only so come prepared. Even if there is a line, the atmosphere is great and makes the time fly.

Great experience. Roy is very friendly and is an amazing barber. He takes his time with every cut and it shows in the end result. Don't be shocked to wait, he doesn't take appointments and it's first come first serve. Definitely worth the wait though.

Awesome barber!! He’s the only one I know that can do a High & Tight military cut! Roy is very Thorough and makes sure your hair cut is perfect! The shop itself is nice, has the old school barber look and feel to it. Nothing fancy! I highly recommend! Bring cash, doesn’t take cards which is pretty cool. Like I said it’s old school!

Roy is a great barber and overall great person. He has a lot of loyal customers and the wait can be lengthy at times but well worth it. I am old fashion and grew up going to barbers not hairstylists, so if you are one of those people this is the place to go.

When I moved to Texas, I searched and searched for an "old-time" barber. Well I found what I needed here. Roy is an excellent barber and very friendly and professional. I feel like I have known him all my life. I travel over 25 miles one-way to have my hair cut by Roy. (Truly, I would travel twice that far for a hair cut here.)
