Buddy and Pops are REAL PEOPLE! God exists in this barbershop...I have the utmost Respect for this Barbershop! Buddy treated me like family and he can cut, over exceeded my expectation because I always expect the worst. This is my new go to place to get a haircut and shave! I have been a customer of A Lil Off the Top for about 27-28 years now Since it first opened up in Lavergne. Steve and his team of long term Barbers are great. I highly recommend this Barber Shop.

Jeh cut my sons this afternoon. And I have to say it is one of the best haircuts my son has ever received. Thank you for being so patient with him. When we got in the car. He said “ momma can we come back here for my next cut”. That’s says volumes cuz my kiddo is picky. Thank you again for a great cut and a nice experience. I noticed a sign in the shop. Refrain from using profanity. It was refreshing. Very old feel with friendly faces. Thank you. We will be back.

My son had the worst cut ever! I don't know if the barber was new or what. But the edge up was uneven the haircut was uneven and the taper was horrible.He cut way too much off when I asked for an inch off the top. If he didn't know what he was doing he should've referred me to another barber. I had to go to another shop to get the cut fixed and it was my son's 12th birthday. If I could give zero stars I would. I don't know the barber's name but the guy with the KC football at his station I would not recommend at all unless you want your money taken.

Love the staff and barbers! Definitely old school cats in here! Good place to conversation and watch the game while you get your hair cut! Men, women, kids, all are welcome! Skilled and wonderful cuts happen here! And at a great price! They also accept card payments!

This is the only barbershop I’ve ever been to that I can say has a soul. Jay, my barber, was focused yet friendly, unlike most shops that are either overly friendly but do badly in their work or feel very fake or uncaring. They were quick and efficient, and I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Mixed feelings. My young boys had a good experience here which was most important to me since they are special needs, and I usually do their cuts at home but needed a break. However this is the first place I’ve been in my life where the tip was added without any consultation with the customer. I asked if I could tip on my debit too since I don’t carry cash. To further support I also decided to purchase a product they sell. I had expected to manually enter my tip as would normally be the case since tipping is optional and entirely up to the customer but I was told then charged an amount that was $12 more than what the product and services combined totaled. I’m a generous person but didn’t care for the fact that I was not asked or allowed to tip what I wanted (my card was taken and I never got the device to input anything). Tipping yourself over 40% after I had to still clean all the hair off their face and neck in addition to get one of the cuts corrected seems pretty entitled. Thanks for the cuts anyway but I can’t say I’d come back .

Nice staff, but my hair is Completely uneven. Have come here in the past and usually tip over the normal amount, but don't see myself coming back at all. Had to go to another barber in Smyrna the same day to get this fixed. Don't think I'll return after this experience. In all fairness I asked the barber to shape/trim me up if he was able to. There are so many barbers in this shop, he could have simply said he can't do it and had another barber do me justice.

I selected this business to service my haircut needs this morning. My regular Barber was not available. My experience was wonderful. I was greeted with joy and laughter. Steve did a great job and gave me a great woman cut. If I’m in a pinch I’ll be back again.

The barbers in here are top notch. I have been several times and have always walked away with a cut that exceeded my expectations. I am pretty particular about how I have my hair cut. I wear a classic/retro style and finding someone that can do that consistently has been a struggle. All of the barbers who have cut my hair have performed excellently. Worth every penny spent.
