Shane's Barber Shop is doing it right. As soon as I walked in as a new customer, they greeted me warmly and made me feel like I'd known them forever. I was unsure how I wanted my hair cut, so I left the stylistic decision up to Derriance; and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! The attention to detail is off the charts; and the genuine, friendly conversation with D and Sarah was a wonderful bonus. It was my first visit, but it definitely won't be my last! If you're looking for an affordable, personable barber shop in Nashville, Shane's should be at the top of your radar!

Had an awesome experience at this barbershop! The place has a classic, welcoming vibe with a comfy waiting area that makes you feel at home right away. The team is incredibly charismatic, friendly, and genuinely makes you feel like part of the family from the moment you walk in. Great cuts, great people, great conversation and most importantly, ANY person from ANY lifestyle, background or walk of life is welcomed— definitely my new go-to spot. My husband was looking for a much needed cut while on vacation and we stumbled upon this Barber Shop. Derriance was his barber and what a fantastic experience. He was friendly, thorough and even asked my opinion as his wife. I would highly recommend this Barber shop and Derriance to anyone in need of a good cut!

This was my first visit to Shane’s Classic Barbershop, and like many, I’m often hesitant to try a new barber. It’s hard to know what to expect, and once I find someone who does a great job, I tend to stay loyal. I had the pleasure of getting my haircut by Derriance, a talented and attentive young barber. He took the time to listen carefully to how I wanted my haircut and asked a few thoughtful follow-up questions to ensure he understood exactly what I was looking for. That attention to detail immediately put me at ease. I’m happy to say that Derriance exceeded my expectations—he did a fantastic job, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the result. I’ve found my new go-to barber. If you’re looking for a quality haircut and a barber who truly listens, I highly recommend paying Derriance a visit.

Just got my hair done at Shane’s Classic Barbershop, not by Shane but one of his barbers, and it was honestly amazing. He was super polite, respectful, and easy to talk to. The conversation was great and I felt comfortable the whole time. What really stood out was how he knew exactly what I wanted without me having to say much. He just got it. My hair turned out exactly how I pictured it, maybe even better. Hands down the best service I’ve had at a barbershop. Thank you for the experience. Five stars all day. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The whole team here is top-notch pro. You can’t go wrong. Plus, the atmosphere is fun and up lifting and the price is fantastic! I’m currently trying to grow my hair out a bit longer, and Sarah gave me just the right amount of trim and style to keep me going. I’ve asked the last 5 barbers and hair stylists to help me with this and they always end up cutting it all off. Couldn’t be happier with this cut!

I have been trying to find a great barber since I moved here and have been to 9 or 10 different barbers. Finally, Derriance got it right. I almost don't want more people to know about them because if they did Shane's would be completely booked and I love that they can always squeeze me in same day.
