Just moved into East Nashville, and stopped in for a trim. Stephen gave me a great cut, and recommended many local hotspots for me to check out. Great spot, I will definitely come back when things get shaggy again!
Owner's response
Thanks Gray! Welcome to the neighborhood! Hope we see you soon!

In town for work and got my haircut by Amber. If I lived in Nashville, she'd be the only one to cut my hair! Perfect attention to detail and made sure it looked how I wanted.
Owner's response
Thanks Cody! Stop in to see us on your next Nashville trip!

Just moved to Nashville and so glad I found this place. I met with Kevin for a bald fade and had a great experience! He was nice, professional, and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

Stephen is the best. Been going to him for a couple of years now and it’s nice having a go-to barber. He’s super helpful and gives me tips and tricks which is needed desperately for my receding hairline and bald spot. Great guy to chop it up with and a nice barber shop with complementary beer
Owner's response
Thanks Brandon! I'll let Stephen know!

Stephen has been my barber for 7ish appointments now and couldn’t be happier. I have a very busy work schedule and he is on time, does great haircuts and fun conversations. I would recommend to anyone

Amber is an excellent barber. This place gives off tractor rap vibes. I’m not sure if I’ll be back. I’d like to establish a regular barber though… I dunno. Check it out. I recommend Amber.

This is my third time coming to East Nashville Beard and Barber and every visit has gone perfectly. I had very long hair for the last 5 years and Steve Riegel helped me get to a short look that I love. He cuts my hair exactly how I want it every single time. Great overall experience! I’m not going anywhere else.
Owner's response
Thank you Cameron!

Edit: This business is full of a bunch of boys that can’t take a bad review. You are ruining your own business by arguing with customers. Keep doing it! It’s hilarious. I’m also extremely thankful my special needs brother had already stepped outside. It would’ve upset him seeing how I was being treated. I was never given a single discount for anything so don’t come on here lying. I had an extremely odd and confrontational interaction with a barber named Stephen. Stephen has been cutting my special needs brother’s hair for the last 6 months. Every single interaction before today was really positive. Unfortunately, I think that Stephen was having a bad day today. My brother has gotten the same exact haircut for the last 4 appointments so when I booked his appointment I assumed that it would be listed in his profile what he always gets. I even reiterated to the person who booked me what he gets. My brother and I were sitting on the couch waiting for his appointment when Stephen walked up to me and said, “So what are we doing today? Because I only have him down for a haircut.” He then went on to tell me that he couldn’t give my brother what he wanted because he had to “go eat lunch”. I went on to tell Stephen that we were no longer interested and that I would find a new barber. He started huffing and puffing at me, and he got extremely upset with me. He then proceeded to follow me up to the front door, and he demanded that I tell his manager why we were leaving. I gave a short synopsis of what happened, and I used to words that helps describe exactly who Stephen is. The manager didn’t care at all so we left immediately. Stephen was throwing a little hissy fit at his station the whole time I was talking to his manager. 10/10 do NOT recommend this place to anyone. All Stephen was worried about was getting paid and eating. I truly hope that lunch was good because he lost a repetitive customer.

Hello Hannah, this is the manager Jay. We apologize for any miscommunication or confusion that led to you not having the experience you expected on your recent visit. Unfortunately, we work on an extremely tight schedule and 30 minutes is not enough time to complete what should be an hour long service. On every one of your previous visits, Stephen has accommodated you and your brother by working you into his schedule and always gives you a steep discount even though you've never once booked the correct services with the corresponding appropriate amount of time needed to complete the work. Stephen averages over 14 clients a day, and works six days a week and only has one short break to attend to his pets and grab a quick snack to nourish himself. So yes, we prioritize this time over scheduling issues. Typically, when we are faced with a scheduling issue, whether it's due to user error or the extremely rare miscommunication on our end, we can offer a reschedule with your preferred barber, or immediate service with a free barber.

I’ve been looking for a good barber since moving here a year ago, and I have found him. Kevin was great. I was so impressed with my hair cut he gave me, that I went ahead and got my ears and nose waxed along with a nice clean shave with a straight razor. After he wrapped my face in a hot towel and massaged my shoulders. I used their website to set up my appointment, walked in a few minutes early. The place had a very manly feel about it from the massive tool box stations, whiskey barrel sinks, 2 TVs, large sliding door at the entrance, and a TV in the bathroom. I would highly recommend going to Nashville Beard and Barber and seeing Kevin or Eric.
