Walked in at 2:00 told me the next appointment was at 2:30 I should come back next week. Highly unprofessional I’m in an empty barbershop two barbers sitting down and I can’t get service. I do not recommend coming here, spend your money somewhere else!!! I would put 0 stars if I could!

My husband and I really love the old feel that this place brought. We spent time looking and admiring the things that we grew up with. Also Lawrence was such a kind person. He talked to my husband and made him feel comfortable. We were pleased with the results. I hate we had to rush and not have the opportunity to get his beard done due to reservations but we have definitely found a barber for my husband and our son. Thank you Lawrence.

Shannon did a great job on my husbands hair, high and tight, military cut. She took the pain out of communicating what length and all. Just Wow, nobody could be easier to talk to. His hair is smooth and even going up and the fade is so gradual. Go here. It has a cool vintage look inside and out. Easy going, professional, a laid back atmosphere, and the conversation was a plus.

Teran is the best barber I’ve had. He provides great recommendations on cuts (I have just recently decided to cut my hair). He also provides great customer service. I will be sure to go to him for all of my future hair cuts

Old Hickory Barber Shop is a feel good spot for an individual or the entire family to go and get a haircut! It is an old school shop and that reflects in the kindness of the owner and the barbers who work with him! My boys feel right at home and love checking out all of the memorabilia and chatting with everyone who will give them a moment of their time! This was our second time seeing Cammie and we will be staying with her. Finding a barber who is patient, funny and listens to the needs of customer is very important to me. Cammie allows me to show her what I’m envisioning but always takes the time to speak to my kids to understand what they are wanting also! I can not recommend her more! Cammie is wonderful! She took the time and extra care cutting my grandson's first haircut! I wasn't sure how he would do but she had him smiling the whole time! Will definitely be back!

I highly recommend!!!! 5 star Barber shop. I was looking for barber that provides an authentic barber shop experience, which is hard to come across these days since aren't many true shops around. The atmosphere took me back in time to when people took pride in their craft. He even took me in even though it was almost time to close. I think I found my new favorite barber shop. Will definitely be back to let my son experience the type of chop I used to get as a youth. Everything about this place was is what I imagine if you tell me define barber shop. Try this place out and you will be satisfied.

Great experience. Got a cut from Themas, best I’ve had yet. He’s a very comfortable, quiet, and friendly person and knows his craft. The other barber, Lawerence, had nothing but smiles and fresh cuts coming off of his chair too. So glad to have found my barber in town, and on the first try too!

I absolutely loved my experience here. My barber was Lawrence and he was phenomenal with my son. He took his time and had my son looking flawless for his upcoming picture day. The shop is super dope and nostalgic and it’s packed full of history and really neat memorabilia! My son was hype because he got to pick a toy from the treasure box at the end of the appointment lol. I’ll be going there going forward!!
