Great service and a great business altogether from this barbershop. The haircut itself was a hit with my wife :) . Would not hesitate to try them again, or just to stop by and see how things are as the owner, Nicky, has incredible passion and it shows.

The people at MMBA are all amazing. The students are serious about learning the art of barbering and the instructors are passionate about teaching. I've always had a great experience and excellent results at MMBA!

I graduated from the academy just over a week ago, and it has been an incredible experience. The program truly goes above and beyond. To them, it's not just about cutting hair—it’s about providing the tools and insights you need to succeed in this career, both during school and after. If you're serious about becoming a barber, this is definitely the place to be.

I recently graduated from Modern Male Barber Academy, and I had an amazing experience. The instructors were not only knowledgeable but also very helpful and attentive, even though the academy was a bit understaffed. Despite that, they did an excellent job preparing me for both the state board exam and real-life barbering situations. The skills and confidence I gained there have been invaluable, and I will definitely miss everyone. Highly recommend this school to anyone looking to get into the barbering industry

I recently completed this barber program and it was the best decision iv ever made. As a veteran shortly after getting out of active duty I was recommended to the academy by a Baber while getting a haircut and got on board they set me up for success from day one going in with no experience in cutting hair to 11 months later I’m fully licensed and working full time as a barber enjoying everyday work. Couldn’t recommend enough definitely the place to go if your looking for a clean, professional and structured program to begin your career.

Oh man, I miss MMBA every day. I graduated from this academy in October, and the amount of knowledge, friends and mentors that I gained within the short time that I attended I cherish to this day. Best instructors hands down. I toured every school within a 25 mile radius. This one definitely felt different, welcoming, from the second you step in. That same warmth is passed on and used on the clients.

I’ve been to many barber schools around the US for haircuts, so I feel comfortable saying that this is easily the best barber school I’ve visited. Not only was the haircut great, but the instructors were more attentive than any school I’ve been to. I’ll definitely be back for more haircuts in the future. I’d also encourage prospective students to check this school out. It’s the most worthwhile instruction I’ve witnessed so far.

As a woman with very short hair, I've had trouble finding somewhere that I can get the haircut I want and feel totally welcome in the shop. If that sounds familiar to you, I absolutely recommend Modern Male. For my first visit, the instructor, Paul, welcomed me and helped me determine exactly the style I was looking for since it had been a while since my last haircut. He cut my hair as a demo for some of the students, which was a fun and unique experience to get to be a direct part of the students' learning. Paul did a great job of making sure I was comfortable and he gave me a great cut! My subsequent two haircuts were from students, and they turned out just as good. The students were friendly, professional, and checked in with me throughout to make sure I was getting what I wanted. Expect to spend a little longer here than you would for a standard barber shop--they are students after all! My visits averaged about 1hr 15 mins to account for the students' pace and a final review from the instructor. I've had a great experience every time and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend Modern Male, especially for my fellow short-haired women looking for a friendly shop.

I am a former student here and would recommend anyone looking to start their barbering career to enroll here. Paul and Vinni were the greatest instructors I could have asked for, they were very attentive to when I needed help. They helped me customize my way of cutting to how I felt worked best for me. I loved the atmosphere that was created in the school which was made by the students and instructors. I still am close with everyone I went to school with and couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend 11 months learning to cut hair. The thing I am most grateful of is how they matured me as an individual. I came into the school as an 18 year old fresh out of high school. I am often complimented on how I carry myself considering my age. I owe a lot of that to modern male, they really matured me as an individual and I could not be any more grateful for everyone who is apart of modern male.

Super Clean! Overall great experience. I was greeted at the door and they all remembered my name throughout the haircut. I got a fade that makes me very happy. Highly recommended for anybody looking for the old school barber shop feelings. Vinni made sure to I was comfortable with every step along the way. Paul was great to talk with while I was getting shaped up too. Thank you all. See you again soon.
