Jen is great. Everyone else I've gone to has done a bad to terrible job. I say the same thing to every barber and I get a different haircut every time. This time a gray haired woman with blue glasses gave me essentially a buzz cut with scissors when all I asked for was a trim. Honestly not sure what the criteria for being hired here is but the test can't be cutting hair to specifications. I will not be back.

Today was special for me. Scary, but special. For 35 years, my mom (a professional stylist among many other things) was the only one to have cut my hair. 4 weeks ago, she passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. So naturally, this was going to be a tough "fresh wound" for me to try and get through both emotionally and physically. 9am this morning, I mustered up the courage to walk through the doors of players barbershop. I thought "well, there won't be many people in there, if at all yet (being early as it was) and that way...I can at least conquer my anxieties first." Right? So... I walked in. I was immediately greeted by Tony. I don't know what to say here except that Tony went BEYOND out of his way to take good care of me. So we set up with Nella to have her cut my hair. It had been 8 months since my mom had cut my hair last. I was well overdue. Nella and I spoke for an hour as she got me back to my best looking self. We found so many commonalities between us and us both missing our parents dearly had brought us to each other. Such a scenario where you just know you're in the right place, right where you're meant to be. We were meant to meet. She was meant to be my first "icebreaker" stylist. It was perfect. I felt completely at ease, I enjoyed our conversations more than i think most would understand. Having the connection of loss, can bring us together more than we expect. I will most certainly be EXCLUSIVELY using players from now on. Tony and Nella....thank you for helping a man conquer his anxiety, his fear of loss, and his fear of change today. You've helped me climb a mountain today. And for that, I will be forever grateful to you both. Thank you so so much. From the bottom of a 90's kids heart, You've helped me heal today. Nick

I have been a customer here since 2020. But the last time I visited will absolutely be the last. It’s a shame. When I first got in, I had to sit down and wait, not a big deal. However, while waiting, a barber was chatting with his client, talking about all sorts of disgusting acts, including sexual activities with animals, talking about personal sex life, telling foul stories and shaming people left and right. The man told a story how he once got told to stop shaving his private areas in front of a window that faces a public park, to which he cursed him off and continued. It’s truly a shame that a barber like that works here. Completely ruined it for me. Will not return.

Unfortunately this barber shop runs through barbers/hairdressers like Wawa does its cashiers. I’ve given them ample opportunities to give me a proper men’s cut. Not only am I displeased, I’m also astounded that they just couldn’t get it right. A 30 minute job turned into an hour of lack luster conversation and a sad excuse for a haircut. I do not recommend this business

You have to love booking an appointment 2 hours in advance, having to drive 15 minutes, get to your appointment on time (3pm) only to be told by a random barber “I don’t know why he would book you an appointment, we close in an hour”. No apology or anything, just a simple get out. Thanks for wasting my and my sons time. Thank you for not calling me in the two hours after I booked to tell me “hey we need to reschedule”. Extremely unprofessional and just flat out not cool. Thanks Players, appreciate it.

I had a 3:45 appointment... an HOUR later not one of the three stylist working could take me for whatever reason, then foisted their ineptitude off on the poor teenage girl working at the reception desk. I left without getting my hair cut. I went a block up the street to Royal Barbershop who took me immediately and gave me an exceptional haircut. I'm not exaggerating when I say that Players Barber Shop gave me the worst customer service experience of my life today. Absolutely unacceptable. If this was the LAST barbershop on God's green Earth, I still would not go here.

I bring my son here every time he needs to chop his mop off (he likes to grow it out all the time and usually ends with him asking to chop it off) The people here are always so friendly and the stylist/barbers do a sick job. My son’s hair is thick and can be tricky but they always show out when he brings them a photo of what he wants. Highly recommend this place!

I have not been here before. My grandfather had an appointment set up with Donna at 8/15/23 11:30am. I had free time so I figured why not. My appointment is set for 12pm. They go and I arrive separately for my own appointment 15 minutes early. I walk in and was instantly greeted by all the staff members. I was expecting a wait but Katelyn greeted herself to me and offered a chair. After that is was so pleasant. My grandfather, my friend John, and myself all went in looking like animals and left out looking like handsome gentleman. Highly Recommended!!!!

I'm sorry to the NEW OWNERS... they hired a women who has probably never taken a class ever on hair cuts. My haircut was fine (thinking one of owners), however my son (15) was butchered. Used thinning scissors to cut his hair, cut the back like a brick wall and just got worse from there. I even asked the lady who cut my hair to step in and she said "what you want me to do". When the horror movie ended (because I said he was done) owner came out from lunch, kinda looked shocked and just didn't charge me for his new look.
