Was going to Harry and Garret when they were at their old spot and recently started going back now that Ive moved closer to B&T. Awesome place and never disappoint. Always professional and amazing beard trims. Highly recommend.

Staff was very warm and accommodating. Shawn Michaels is a true professional through and through. He executed the vision flawlessly. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. I’ve gotten a tremendous amount of complements on my hair and beard. I will be coming back!

Badger and Tortoise is a fantastic place, and Harry Erickson is an exceptional barber! I recently got a haircut from Harry and was thoroughly impressed with his skill and attention to detail. Not only that, but a great conversationalist too! The shop itself has a great atmosphere, and the entire experience was top-notch. I highly recommend both Badger and Tortoise and Harry Erickson for anyone in need of a quality haircut. Thank you and I’ll definitely be back soon!

Unfortunately, my looks are very hair dependent. With a good haircut, I might get a few gals lookin' my way, and with a bad haircut, I'm Jim Carrey in "Dumb and Dumber". Harry takes the art form seriously and I leave the chair looking great each time, time after time! 👈💯💇‍♂️🏆

8/5/2025: Continued great service with consistent results. Harry gives me a great cut every time and is fun to chat with. First and second visit: A good haircut and experience. Second time getting my hair cut and I'm pleased with the cut, service, and atmosphere. Will be returning. Harry is a great guy who is easy to talk to and does a great job.

Harry is the man! I had the best experience, probably ever, getting a beard cut/style with hot towels and straight razor from Harry. First of all, the shop is very tastefully appointed as a men’s rejuvenation space. The leather couch and decorations in the waiting room adjoining the barber area was a breath of fresh air and I fully relaxed in the minutes before I was brought in to the chair. There was a steady murmur of conversation happening between barbers and patrons, making me feel comfortable I could either listen or yap myself. Harry is a consummate professional. I showed him a photo of the cut I wanted, a low box beard with a fade on the sides and neat edges with a straight razor, and he took it all in an instant and made me feel assured he’d knock it out. And he did. He’s got a solid mustache beard himself so I know I could trust him with my style. Great conversationalist, we talked about tattoos, Philadelphia cuisine, and jiu jitsu. Healthy verbal sparring with others in the room about the act of getting tattoos. The hot towels, straight razor cleanup on my neck, and final cold towel to cool it off were exceptional. He fully pulled off the look I asked for, better than anyone had before. Big tip for my guy. I will certainly return.
