Ive been having Tina cut my hair for almost 3 years now, and I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. I've literally turned down free haircuts, because they just wont be up to the level that ive come to expect from her cuts. I recommend everybody I can to this place because it is just that freaking good, seriously. To top it off, the rest of the staff make this place feel extremely welcoming, so feel free to show up a little early, and have a beer or whiskey (or an N/A option if thats more your style), I promise, you'll leave here feeling like a whole new you!

Tina has cut my hair a couple times now, and I always walk out feeling sharp and clean. She is beyond professional, but at the same time has a way of making you feel like old friends. If you are looking for a good clean cut, look no further than Tina's chair. The environment is very comfortable and nice to spend time in.

I had a haircut with Tina today and it was genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. I walked in feeling pretty unsure of myself — it’d been a while since my last cut, I was sitting in the back, and I was a little nervous meeting someone new. But Tina made me feel comfortable right away. She listened to what I wanted, gave solid feedback, and really understood the look I was going for. The haircut turned out great. Clean, sharp, and even better than what I had pictured. I walked out feeling confident, and I’ve already booked my next appointment. If you’re looking for a really good men’s cut, Tina’s the person to see.

I randomly wandered into this establishment because it was the closest to my apt. I'm so thankful I moved there. Staff was EXCELLENT! Derek gave me a straight razor head shave as well as a beard trim. From our brief interaction, I could tell he had a passion for what he does. You will not be disappointed! Maybe it was the couple glasses of wild turkey that was included with, my service; if I could rate them 10/5 I would! I will be back!

Tina is absolutely amazing! Not only is she incredibly talented with haircuts and shaves, but she has also been an integral part of helping me navigate my trans identity and presentation. Every visit with her feels affirming and comfortable; she always makes space for me to show up as myself. On top of that, Tina is funny, kind, and a joy to be around. I always leave her chair feeling better than when I walked in. I can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for someone who truly cares about their clients and brings skill, warmth, and positivity to the experience. The atmosphere is always great, and the beer makes it even better!

Tina is incredible!!! The way she helped me to find my new style in a new city was just everything I needed. Her energy, singing and overall personality was like a light to my soul. Can’t wait for my next appointment. ADD. Had my second appointment this time with Jacob and it was great, He held good conversation, and was informative with what he was doing. Overall he was great however slight miscommunication but thankfully nothing that will go noticed till the next cut and pricing. First visit I got the same service with eyebrow waxing and still had room to tip nicely however with Jacob without the waxing came out to $79 and that Is a bit much as good as the service was the cost felt heavier.

The staff here are genuinely pleasant, and the atmosphere is great. However, I was disappointed with my haircut. I requested a mid fade and even reviewed a reference photo with the barber to ensure clarity, but the result was a high skin fade with no blending. If a style is unfamiliar or difficult, I believe it's better to communicate that upfront. While I'm sure the barber does excellent work for others, this wasn't the right fit for my request. I paid in full but won't be returning. They are trying to hide this review which is crazy standby your work.

Wow, what a place, was just walking around and found this place. Theresa did my haircut and she is an expert, very friendly. After a long time, had a good haircut, tried many places and finally got a place where I can visit regular. A true gem of a place for a haircut, what to say, the beer is on the house 😊

THIS PLACE IS A PDX HIDDEN GEM Yes, it’s a great barbershop, but what I really love is the inexpensive beers they keep on tap (or non alcoholic drinks, if you prefer). It looks like another high quality PDX barbershop (which it is) but it’s also an unassuming place to grab a couple beers after work (no haircut required). The vibe is great. The staff is friendly. And you can’t find a better deal for the beer. They don’t have a huge selection but the few taps they have are always great options and they even brought it in a keg because I told them it was my favorite. Troublemaker has become the meetup spot for my friends before we head out for the night. The owners are a couple of brothers who are hilarious and down to earth. They also have great barbers. I’ve had my last 8-10 cuts here and have been extremely happy with each one. Haircuts, beer, or a place to hang and watch sports. This is a great place for all of that. It’s also a place I take my out of town friends when they visit to give them a little taste of Portland uniqueness.
