I’ve seen this shop for years so I thought I’d try it out, seemed to have good reviews. They just chopped off what they couldn’t get through. As you can see it was completely uneven and looked like trash. I tried to say something but they just got defensive and rude. I hid my hair for months after this cut because I was so ashamed. 100% would not recommend, especially if you have curly hair!! My little brother tried them too and had the same result with the terrible cut.

This is the place to get cleaned up. Freddy is the barber for me. The othe guys give clean cuts as well. You could hit up Alex the owner or the other three barbers on hand. Just remember to set the appointment head of time. These guy's are booked up almost all the time.

I came in last-night kinda late for a beard trim and cut. The gentleman that cut my hair was super friendly but left my beard long on one side along with my mustache and left me with bangs…. When he was done the first time he almost let me walk out with and bowl cut saying it needed to help my hair grow healthy… the shop has an awesome atmosphere but my experience wasent that great! The barber I had was Dennis again we is such an awesome guy but he did me a little dirty…

Friendly cutters, good price. Just a nice old-time Barbershop. 5 years later still a good place. Now they have a new generation of cutters offering lots of custom cuts for whatever you want. Regular cuts still there too of course. Nice guys.

Have been going here for a few years now(since before they moved in to the new place---on and off), and Denis has always done a good job on my hair and beard. And, the cost is very affordable. His dog is very friendly and always greets me when I go over to Denis's chair.

Gary is awesome! He gives a great haircut for a very reasonable price. He and the other barbers all do a good job, but Gary is our family's favorite. His prices are the traditional barber prices, rather than the inflated prices of the modern fancy man barber.

Amazing place. They got me in last min when I needed a haircut! Great staff. Very cheap and affordable price!! For sure will come back for a nice clean cut! Thank you Gary’s Barber Shop!!

Just got a haircut by Trish, easily the best looking and best priced haircut I've gotten in all of Portland. She was very patient with my explanation of style and was very meticulous in getting it perfect. The shop in general has a warm inviting vibe, great conversations had with the entire staff there as well, highly recommended.

I luckily had a chance to walk in and had a younger red headed guy cut my hair. He did a good job for his first time with me compared to great clips with a hit or miss on a good haircut. The last time I went in i wasn't happy with the old owner doing my haircut. Too straight and short. My side burns were off on length (one was longer than the other) my neck line wasn't clean shaved. Hard to do any flow or styling with my hair as it had no layers, texture just straight haircut. I love the pricing there and can stand the cigar smell and old fashioned setup but will not return until old barbers retire and hire modern hair stylists

Just walked in, sat down and got the best haircut of my life. The guys were friendly and I even learned a few things talking to them. The haircut was quick, profesional and I loved the style. The friendly atmosphere and great cut make make this my new regular barbershop and I greatly recommend it to any other guys out there. For those concerned with prices, they are extremely reasonable and well worth it.
