Do not trust this "barber" with your beard. You might as well just take some clippers and buzz the whole thing off yourself. I went into the shop with a full beard grown out about 3". I asked Mr. Tony to shape it but keep the length alone as much as he could. What I got was an uneven, patchy cut where he had buzzed parts of it down to about half an inch and left the same parts on the other side of my face untouched "because he wanted to save me some length." Too late. It just looked like he had started to shave my beard down and stopped halfway through. The picture below is what he let me leave the shop with. I had to return and ask him to at least make the beard even. So now I just have a poorly buzzed 0.5" short beard that I will still have to fix myself before work on Monday. This not at all what I asked for, and not what I expect of a professional barber. I'm very disappointed that I will have to wait another 4-6 months to grow my beard back out to where it was before Mr. Tony's hack job. The haircut was fine, but you shouldn't advertise yourself as a barber if you have no idea how to trim a beard. Just infuriating.

I used to like this shop but will not be a returning client anymore. I had been coming here for awhile and getting my haircut by one of their barbers but recently I called to make an appointment to find only to find out he no longer worked there. When I asked if they knew where he was now employed, they didn't answer but rather told me they had other barbers there that could cut my hair. Figured I'd give them a shot and the first haircut I received was fine, not great, and not exactly what I had asked for, but it was fine. Thought I'd give them even one more go and try a different barber and that was a terrible decision. The haircut I received yesterday is so remarkably bad that it's actually almost impressive. I provided photos for examples and it couldn't be further from it. I asked for short back and sides and the barber didn't even really touch the sides. He cut the top short and then tried to, in his words, "blend" the sides into it. Without asking any questions, he removed my apron and sent me on my way. The real cherry on top was mentioning that the last person to cut my hair, really did a hack job and when I told him it was done in his shop by one of his employees, he just brushed it off, asked to collect pay and ignored me. Now I have to pay someone else to try to fix it, if it's even possible without waiting for it to grow out, and cancel a work photoshoot I have this weekend, and won't be getting my deposit back on that. Easily the worst haircut I've ever had and has turned into the most expensive.

Tony was great with kids cuts. Was able to fit us in as a walk in with a little wait.

I got a haircut today and I show the person the picture and it looks nothing like it. It's a really really bad haircut. I'm not saying the person is bad but gosh damn it's a horrendous haircut. So be careful

I’m so happy to have found this place. Tony jr did such a great job and listened to what I wanted. Rounded the edges perfectly and checked in to make sure it was done right. At the end he told me that he guaranteed his work and that if after I left I felt anything was off he’d touch it up. That’s great customer service! The shop itself was clean and comfortable. You guy’s earned a new customer today. See you soon.

Oscar gave my two kids wonderful haircuts that made them feel confident and listened to. I appreciated Oscar’s easy and chill approach with each of them and even my no-chats-please guy was chatting happily to Oscar to the whole time. The salon’s environment/design is perfect as well which makes everyone feel relaxed and excited to be there.

Tony is truly a genuine professional. Quick, courteous, and polite. I left with the best haircut I’ve ever had, and all I did was show him an old picture. This place is a neighborhood gem, I can’t recommend them enough.

I am very impressed with this business. In my opinion, it is not easy to find a decent barber shop in Portland. Most are either expensive, don’t listen to the customer, have rude/awkward personalities, or are inconsistent at best. Over the 6 years I’ve lived here I’ve tried a different barber/stylist each year, and none of them have achieved such a high level of service and quality. All the barbers are welcoming, give a great cut, hold friendly conversation, and all for a more than reasonable price. I hope this shop stays in business for a long time because they deserve it more than their competition.

I booked a bread trim online because they had the most reasonable prices and best reputation. I arrived a little early and Brian was ready to go right on time. He made sure he completely understood what I wanted before he started, which I greatly appreciate. He paid close attention to what he was doing, offered several little extras like cleaning up around my ears, mustache, and neck, and was direct and polite when asking me to move around so he could adjust the chair and check his work. I am extremely impressed with the service I received, especially for the price, and will definitely go back any time I need a professional level trim.
