I want to congratulate this location on getting Casie Ryan as a stylist! I’ve trusted her with my hair for nearly a decade, and that alone says everything. She consistently listens, understands exactly what I’m hoping for, and somehow makes my hair look even better than I imagined every single time. What truly sets her apart is her attention to detail and genuine care for her clients. She takes the time to explain options, offers honest recommendations, and clearly prioritizes the health and integrity of your hair — not just the immediate result. I’ve gone through multiple styles, colors, and phases over the years, and she has handled each transition with incredible skill and creativity. Beyond the technical talent, she creates a comfortable and supportive experience where you feel heard, respected, and confident in her hands. I never feel rushed, and I always leave feeling more confident than when I arrived. If you’re looking for a stylist who is consistent, knowledgeable, and deeply invested in helping you look and feel your best, I can’t recommend her enough. After 9–10 years, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair.

Casie does an absolutely amazing job with men's cuts. She cut my hair every 3 weeks for the past 7+ years before she moved away. I was sad to see her go, but Rudy's is lucky to have her now!

I had my hair done by Casie and cannot say enough positive things. She takes the time to ask questions to make sure you’re both on the same page about exactly how you want your hair to come out. She’s clearly very knowledgeable and if you have any questions regarding techniques she’s always happy to answer and explains it in a thoughtful way that I’ve always found to be extremely helpful. It’s clear that she wants anybody sitting in her chair to feel comfortable and enjoy the experience. She cut my hair in Denver for years so on a recent visit to Portland I paid her a visit and as per usual left with a fantastic haircut. Now that I’m moving to Portland I can take comfort knowing I have someone reliable and talented to do my hair again. 5 stars. No notes. Would recommend.

My 9-year-old daughter had her hair cut by Carmen. Carmen was great! She listened to what my daughter wanted, helped her figure out what would work well for her curly hair, and was very friendly and professional. Thanks, Carmen!

Carmen is amazing! Highly recommend her for anyone with curly hair, especially if you also like a shaggy cut or face framing. She always does such a great job and is super easy to talk to!

Easy as heck to book online with the shop, and I was able to get a same day appointment on a Friday. Ingri was so kind and easy to talk with and plan with for my haircut! 10/10 service and I walked out with a haircut that I love for cheaper than other salons on the street- the last cut I got was at a salon on Mississippi and it was $85 before tip! the short cut with Ingri was $50 and then I bought some texturizing powder for $17. I especially appreciated Ingri's dedication to making sure the cut was exactly what I wanted, even when the last detail work made us run a little over time. I didn't feel rushed at all, it was clear that my satisfaction with the cut was Ingri's priority. thanks so much y'all! I'll absolutely be back. LGBTQ+ centered note: I'm trans and I don't think I got misgendered or weirdly micro-agressioned once in the shop! It felt like a very welcoming and comfortable space to be me even when I don't "pass" right now :)

Ive had cuts here before, and been happy with the total experience. Today I had to reschedule an appointment due to an error on my end, and they pulled it off. Good service is hard to find, you should come get a cut here too. Thanks to the staff!

Went in for an undercut cleanup. Less than a 10 minute buzz cut and I was charged $43! My fault for not asking before I sat down, but that seems incredibly costly for such a quick cut. Nice folks but geez thats just a gross overcharge.

I used to go to a bunch of wack places to get a haircut and they would always mess up my hair but ever since I started going to Rudy's Barbershop, I felt so relieved and was so comfortable being there. Serra did such a wonderful job. She took her time and I showed her some ideas on my phone to work with. I loved my new cut 😭😭 Staff overall is amazing, the vibe is great and the haircuts are fresh ✨ Rudy's Barbershop is the only place I will go to get my haircut done. I trust them 💛 Get your hair done here and you'll come out feeling like a brand new person

Full of inclusivity and pride, this salon is a great space to get your hair cut, for folks from all walks of life. I've always been made to feel as though my comfort and happiness are a priority, which I really appreciate. It's tucked in a trendy little neighborhood, so be prepared to hunt for street parking and walk a few short blocks. If you're looking for a haircut, I love my girl Panda H. - she's super friendly, open-minded, communicates very well, and it's quite skilled to boot!
