Amelia’s been cutting my hair for many years now, and there’s a reason I keep going back… She’s a fantastic stylist and beautiful human! Amelia listens to my crazy “Frankenstein” hair ideas - This usually involves many pictures of styles I like, She sees my vision and somehow pieces it together, like Dr. Frankenstein! Intuitive and adventurous, yet intentioned, I recommend Amelia to everyone. Rudy’s as a whole - The prices can be real steep. Then again they’re based on the level of experience each stylist has. And the timeframes for cuts could be a little more flexible based on the client.

Katie was great! My first time there and everything was prompt, quick and easy. I love the cut. She is super chill and was able to have light chit chat. Definitely recommend. Thank you!

Amelia is awesome! Each time I've visited she's super personable. My hair is VERY thick and unruly and she really lets me take my time with each decision throughout the appointment. Hugely appreciate her patience and humor! Keep kicking ass.

Kaitlin is awesome! She always does my hair how I want it and makes great recommendations too. She is also really friendly and nice to talk to you! She’s been doing my hair for years now, and I will always be going to her for as long as I can!

In 2018, I got the worst haircut of my life from Rudy’s. I asked for a textured shag and instead got a buzz cut mullet from a stylist (who had only been cutting hair for three days) that was nothing like the pictures I showed. Management did what they could to mitigate the damages, but I had to grow out the mistake. I have had a few positive haircuts from Rudy’s afterwards and I appreciated how they worked with me after the bad haircut, so I thought it wouldn’t happen again. Today I picked a stylist who had good reviews, but barely looked at my textured shag inspo pics and instead gave me a bowl cut with a blunt mullet. Another stylist tried to help fix it, but the damage was done. I’ve been growing my hair out for almost two years after chemo and now I have to start from the ground up all over again. I know there is a tier system with the stylists, but I don’t think patrons should have to risk the worst haircut of their lives for the cheapest tier (which still isn’t cheap at $60).

Excellent as always. I've never had a haircut I liked till Sarah. Straight up I used to go get a hair cut, hate it for two days, then shave my head. Sarah is 5/5 for giving me haircuts I like

I started getting my haircut by Serena a few months ago when I moved back to Portland and I couldn’t be happier! My hair has a few patches and needs someone who knows what they're doing. Serena took the time to understand the issue and pays close attention to detail. She is now the only person I’ll see in Portland. I would definitely recommend Rudy’s!
