Erin has been cutting my hair for about 3 years now. She does such an amazing job I can't imagine going to anyone else.

Clarissa gave me an excellent cut and trim! Which I needed after a long sabbatical on the road. Also super gracious and great service. I'm new to town, and she made me feel right at home.
Owner's response
Thanks Sean, for the great review!

Rudy's is my go-to place for haircuts! You can't beat the value and the expertise they provide. Ronaldo was SUPERB! Definitely go to him. A true expert. His attention to detail is outstanding. It was like getting a $300 haircut for the price of $74. TYSM Ronaldo! Definitely will be back to see Ronaldo every few months now to keep the shape he expertly curated.

It was a decent fade but not worth 60 bucks. I guess I could have asked beforehand what the price was but I wouldn’t expect a place like this to charge that much. At cloak and dagger you get a fade for 50 plus free drinks and it’s a way nicer place.

I booked an appointment for the earliest available for a bald cut. I arrived early and got my hair cut by Megan. She is super sweet with a robust laugh. I asked for a skin fade, meaning down to the skin. I tried to explain to her I had difficult grow patterns and a double crown that goes in opposite directions. Again, I asked for a skin fade, almost military but still on the edge of cool. Megan took approximately 20 minutes to cut my hair. Then another 10 for a shampoo and a hot towel. So about 30 minutes, when it was all said and done. Sadly, what I asked for was not what I got. What I wanted was a great, stylish cut, and what I got was something out of a barber school student. There was an ovbious weight line going all the way around my head, no it's not even an even weight line. It wasn't skin, she used a guard so it was next to skin. Not what I asked for. I came home and immediately shaved my entire head. It was that bad and embarrassing for me. So I shaved it. I didn't think it was fair that I had to pay upwards of $60 to cut my own hair, so I reached out to Rudy's twice. I emailed and sent pictures. No reply. No recommendation. It's rude to ignore your customers when their concerns are obviously valid.

Short: I really hate to say it, but $65+tip for a standard short haircut feels a little egregious to me. Long: I got a short-to-shorter haircut that took ~15 minutes. No neck shave or wash was included (though I did decline a hot towel offer as well as the addition of product - maybe that would have gotten me a wash?)... there is the possibility that "hot towel" meant shave and I was too dense to know this. The price was still an eye-watering $65 + tip. I would love to support local... and I appreciate the ability to get a quick haircut (my typical haircutter was booked), but I'm afraid this crossed my line in terms of value. I'm very sorry to say it was the first and last time I'll be at Rudy's. Ouch. Moral of the story: If you're a person looking for a standard short haircut, prepare your wallet/purse or consider elsewhere. Maybe there is more value in a longer/more complex haircut (but also note you'll pay significantly more for those too)... your mileage may vary. The possible remedy: If the prices drop a bit, I'd happily return. But until then, no thank you.

Autumn rocks! My nine year old son and I get our hair cut by Autumn regularly - she’s a gem. My son has a unique faux mullet that she cuts flawlessly, just the way he likes it. And she’s always on point with my stylish yet business ready cut. Highly recommend!
Owner's response
Yay! Thanks Michael! We are lucky to have Autum around for sure:)

I came in last week for a cut and Autum did a seriously amazing job. I went from long layers to a blunt bob and it turned out exactly the way I hoped, which is not always the case with haircuts! I will absolutely be coming back and would definitely recommend. Other things that were helpful: it was really easy to make an appointment via the website, it was easy to find parking and the prices are far more affordable than most of the salons I've been to over the years. Very happy with Rudy's!

So freaking impressed with the haircut I got here! I needed one on short notice and managed to book the same day. Clarissa was so friendly and skillfully technical, while also asking my opinion of the cut along the way. It took an hour, and I love the way she framed the hair around my face. Very professional all around! Will be back!
Owner's response

We found Rudy's is a great, well established business. Treated us with smiles, and our child came away with a great experience and a nice haircut. We made the appointment online that day and were in and out pretty quickly. Greeted us when we walked in, it was over nice with a moderate price.
Owner's response
Hi Cyd! Thank you so much for the kudos and for giving us a shot! Great snaps too:)
