If haircuts were an Olympic sport, Kash at North End Barber would have more gold than Michael Phelps. I’ve been getting my hair “did” by her for years, and every single time it’s nothing short of amazing. She somehow knows exactly what I want—even when I don’t. And as a bonus, she’s also a world-class storyteller, so you leave not only looking sharp but also entertained. 10/10 would trust Kash with my head (and my ears) again and again.

dash is very chill, interesting, & well-rounded barber. attention to detail, a fantastic listener, & it’s transparent they enjoy their work. the location is unique & center to st. john’s. the service always your to pay beforehand & is great at reminding you about your appointment. 💇🏽♂️💅🏽

Cannot recommend this shop enough! I’ve taken my son there the last few times he’s needed an haircut and they go above and beyond to make him comfortable. The haircut always turns out amazing as well!

I have been going to this establishment for 3 years. I have always tipped and generally been what one would call a loyal and half decent customer. I’m not perfect. But a reliable customer. Today, I was in a rush, and stressed out (as young parents often are with an 1 year old) and so I called ahead to say I’d be late by 5 minutes. My wife took the car today so I had to order an Uber, who happened to get incredibly lost on the way to the shop. I called again to say I’d be even later, and yes, I did turn up 22 minutes late, but I was looking a shaved haircut on this occasion. I’d have accepted a quicker turnaround. Additionally, I think it’s reasonable, at times, to ask the next customer to wait maybe a few minutes before their appointment. It happens all the time in barbershops. I’ve waited. Josh refused to take me and asked to reschedule after my ordeal getting there. This is one time in 3 years. To be frank, I was disappointed. I will never set foot or be a customer of this barbershop again.

It is standard policy to reschedule an appointment if you are 10 or more minutes late. There is simply not enough time to do a haircut. It doesn’t just affect the client after you, but the entire day of appointments. Sorry we were not able to get you in, but this would happen to anyone who was not able to be on time.

Outstanding experience Everytime. Dash has been fantastic at keeping my hair and beard tamed, but from what I witness while I wait, with complementary beverage in hand, is that everyone delivers quality. I'm glad for the recommendation I received, and feel it's only right to pass it on.

Great customer service, ambience, hair cut, and hair style! Emily was my stylist/barber and she was great! The free drink was a great touch and I sure will be coming back. My neighbor recommend this place and I do the same moving forward. Thanks!
