We came here specifically to see Heather, and this is a great place for men’s haircuts, but they also do women’s haircuts. Kind of an old-fashioned, barber vibe, but nice place.

The only place I go to get my hair/beard cut in Portland. Everyone does an incredible job. They always translate my vague ideas into haircuts that get me compliments all the time.

Over the past few years, my hair style has changed along with much else, but my barber has stayed the same. Alex Stein always does a good job. I have never had a bad haircut from her. I have never had a merely satisfactory haircut from her. I have always gotten the type of haircut from her that made me feel great about myself and prompted compliments from others. Plus, she is delightful to talk to, diligent, gentle, and best of all, consistent. If you are looking for a new barber, I would wholeheartedly suggest giving Alex a chance. I have no doubt you will be just as pleased with your haircut as I have been with mine over and over again for years. As for the shop itself, frankly, I would go get my haircut wherever Alex was working. That being said, Manly and Sons Barber Company in Portland is always clean, comfortable, and has never given me a reason to dislike going there. Even the barbers who I am not there to see are always friendly and greet me upon entry. There is some cool stuff to look up at on the walls, as I especially like the illustration work done by the wife of the barber whose station is next to Alex's. There's some pretty cool eagle drawings. Overall, it seems like a perfectly fine place to go get a really good haircut.

Best barber shop in town. Used to go to their location in Los Angeles. Portland is just as good. Very classic barber shop vibes and great hair cuts/beard trims. I've had mine done by both Loren and Logan and both did a great job. Prices are fair too. Highly recommended.
