I've been getting my hair cut and my beard trimmed at Heritage for forever. Longer than I remember. I don't know what I would do without Maggie. Thanks to her, everyone thinks I have a jawline. The other barbers there are really nice, Brian is great, the other customers are pretty okay probably. It feels like a family. Yeah. A family. I like the sound of that. A family that I have to pay to be a part of, a family that I only see once every 6-8 weeks, a family that makes me look 35% more handsome than I look in real life!

I was in town one night for work this week and I needed to get a haircut for headshot day at work. After some googling on where to get the best cut in town, I came across Heritage. The reviews did not disappoint. One of the best haircuts and beard trims Ive had in recent memory!! Savannah did an amazing job with the cut and left me feeling confident for picture day. Did I mention the immaculate vibes and free beer/sparkling water while you wait? 10/10 experience, will be back when I’m in pdx!

Bob was fantastic! He gave my teenager his first barber experience; he was so good at listening to my son's needs and wants. He also gave my kid lots of great advice on how to manage his curly hair. So very pleased and will definitely go back.

This place has been my go-to barber shop for the last few years, beating out some of the other quality neighborhood options gradually over time, both in quality and atmosphere. It's a quintessential old school barbershop vibe where there's several conversations going on at any given moment and you may or may not be invited, but you are always made to feel welcome in the space as you wait for a cut and your turn in the greater conversation. I love my regular barber there, but no matter who fills in when my schedule conflicts, I am always happy with the cut and enjoy their company. I appreciate the gratis can of Old German each time that reinforces that this is *me time.*

Jenn at heritage is hands down the best barber I’ve ever been to. She does a perfect job every time, remembers what I get, and is always super friendly. On top of that their customer service representative, Pepper, is outstanding. Last time I came in Pepper sat down right next to me and without saying a word and immediately made me feel welcomed and at ease. Ten outta ten

Brian is awesome. I usually don’t like talking during haircuts, but he’s such a nice guy and positive that I can’t help it. He does a great job on my hair, And the quality to Cost for a men’s haircut is a no-brainer. Strongly recommend I used to live in Portland and get my haircut there. Now I commute 45 minutes just to make sure I have Brian do it.

Every time I go to Heritage Barbershop it is always an experience. All of the staff are friendly, engaging, accommodating, and make you feel as if you are part of their family. By far the best experience I have ever had with having my haircut.

Savannah and Hank do a great job on my hair, beard, and the straight razor shave is always a plus! Great attention to detail! The Burnside Heritage Barbershop location rocks! Friendly folks and good vibes, and Brian keeps it all rollin' on! See you again soon!

Brian always does a nice job on my hair, with enjoyable conversation. It seemed like a busy morning during my most recent visit but they were right on schedule and I was in the chair at my appointment time. I've been very happy with the service and organization at Heritage and plan to continue

Classic barbershop vibe. Lots of occupied chairs. I was greeted by the barbers at the front and they all seemed friendly to their customers. An unoccupied one saw me looking at hair products and helped me find the right one while I waited. My barber, who was finishing up with their current customer, took the extra step of coming over to personally greet me and let me know they would be with me shortly. During the cut, they actively engaged with me and kept me in the loop with what they were doing, which was nice. I got a good quality haircut for a fair price (cuts ain't cheap these days). The slightly lower price point for the area and proximity were the primary deciding factors. I'll be booking my next cut here. Thanks y'all!
