My kids, husband, and I went in for haircuts. The service was attentive and professional, and the environment was welcoming, relaxed, and clean (bonus: I looked it up, and this salon is listed on the Strands for Trans site). The staff were very friendly and kind with my kids and gave me some useful styling and care tips for my own long, wavy hair that I wash 'n go; they also did the same for my partner, who needed simple tips for his curly hair without spending too much time styling it every morning. We highly recommend this shop for all.

I showed up for my 3p haircut @ 259p. Upon arrival, the person who ended up being my stylist was completing a lengthly phone call, promoting another staff member to grab me a beer. I sipped on it while browsing the shampoo selection. After my stylist finished his call it was 310p. He then immediately scolded me for being "10 minutes late". This was confusing, unprofessional, and created an uncomfortable vibe given the delay was due to his phone call. To ease the situation, I apologized and offered to reschedule. This did not help. The stylist ignored my apology and my offer. Instead he proceeded to give me a poor quality, rushed haircut in total silence. If I were the owners of this place, this particular stylist is not who I would want representing my brand. I won't be back.

Set up appointment for a haircut and showed up for the haircut. Sign on door said they were understaffed and to wait outside at door for your appointment. Waited for 23 minutes, no one ever came out. Ownership needs to hire staff or show up themselves. Your employees deserve better than to run the shop alone, and a patron who books an appointment shouldn't have to be outside that long with no one coming to the door. Staff, you should unionize. Edit: Staff member called me back and was happy to set up new appointment, including in a timeframe I needed it done. Was very satisfied with my haircut and the barber was incredibly kind and skilled at their job! Management really needs to get their act together, cause their staff are phenomenal. Y'all need to pay and properly staff your shop; cause the barbers seem to be the reason folks are coming back, not the way the shop is run by the higher ups.

Kyle did an amazing job on my skin fade and my straight razor beard line up. Used so many smell goods on my beard during the process. The hot towel and cold towel treatment opening my pores felt amazing. Would def recommend this guy to anyone looking for a professional cut. Thanks again

Kelli was so kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in. I accidentally put a lot of pressure on them by telling them my previous 2 haircuts had been terrible and I was about to attend 2 weddings in one week and they rose to the occasion! They were so lovely to chat with and I really appreciated how they went slowly and incrementally with my cut to make sure I was still enjoying the look without taking too much off. I will definitely be back!

Chrome East is a great barbershop with a modern, welcoming vibe. I've been seeing Kelli for about a year now, and they always nail the short textured cuts I like. Their attention to detail is fantastic, and they're always happy to offer suggestions and make sure I leave with a cut I love. Prices are reasonable, and I've recommended this place to several friends who also had great experiences.

I haven't had my hair cut since the start of the pandemic in early 2020, and my whiskers since June of 2023. Needless to say I was in need of a trim and Kyle delivered. This was my first visit for barbering services at Chrome, having bought product while my hair was growing out. Booking online was easy, not knowing any of the stylists, I chose "Any Available," and picked a convenient time for me. Overall, it was pleasant experience. Kyle trimmed my hair and cleaned up my goatee to be more presentable for work. Clean facilities, friendly staff, and for me, easy access to TriMet.

Great place for a fast but always high quality and professional hair cut. Parking is fairly easy, never been difficult. The stylists are professional and friendly, good conversation but never making you feel pressured to chat. Fun location, nice complementary beverage, and talented stylists. Cheyanne has always gone above and beyond. Highly recommended for an affordable high quality hair cut.

I have incredibly thick hair, and I have not come across many hairstylists who are ok with taking off a lot of bulk. Alina not only did a great job with my hair color, but she also took the time to thin out my hair to my liking. It's nice to feel less weight on my head! On top of everything, Alina is a super wonderful person, and I enjoy our conversations. Highly recommend her services at Chrome East.

Cara is a brilliant hairstylist! I absolutely love my hair since I’ve been going to her. She gently and expertly brought my hair back to being healthy and exactly how I want it after it was over-processed and I was unhappy with it at other salons. Getting my hair done by Cara always feels like going to see an old friend- she is extremely thoughtful and genuinely kind and interested in her clients’ happiness, and she listens carefully and executes accordingly through her work. I can’t recommend her highly enough!
