Fire experience here at Black Diamond Barbershop. I set an appointment with Alain and was more than happy with his skills and service. Ive know the master barber/ owner ‘Alain’ for many years I only trust him with my hair, every time I go to him it’s always a hit & never a miss. He always gives 100% commitment to everything he does, always gives his clients the respect and attention they deserve. At Black Diamond it’s more than just a service it’s an awesome experience! Every time I stop by for a cut I come out feeling better then before Alain always gets me right and knows my style the man is more than just a barber, he’s an artist and a inspiration. I came in with a large head of hair. It was over grown and I felt self conscious. Alain greeted me when I came in and was very kind, friendly, and respectful! He got to work right away on my hair. The haircut was very soothing and comfortable. During the whole process I felt relaxed. Alain is a great conversation maker as well. We talked about various interesting topics during our conversation. Once the haircut was all done I felt like a brand new man. My confidence was sky high. I would highly recommend this barber shop. If your looking for a taper fade Alain is your man.

The Barber Shop at BLACK DIAMOND is phenomenal. I have been coming to this barbershop with my son and nephews for a long time, and we received an excellent hair cut every time. We won’t get a haircut anywhere else now except here. It is also good to support your local small businesses. If you’re looking for a top-tier barber, ALAIN is the one. From the moment I walked in, Alain was ready for me right at my appointment time — no waiting, no excuses. Professional from start to finish. My hair is not easy to cut because I have thinning areas, but after Alain finished, you couldn’t tell at all. He took his time, paid attention to detail, and really put effort into perfecting the cut. When I got out of the chair, I honestly looked like a different person. The transformation was crazy. Fresh line, clean finish, sharp all the way around. Most importantly, Alain completed the full service I booked. I’ve been to other barbershops where I paid for a razor shave and hot towel and didn’t even receive it. That won’t happen with Alain. He delivers exactly what you pay for. Amazing barbers and this shop. * Lupe takes her time and makes sure her client is comfortable- she listens. This is his second cut with her at Black Diamond and he wanted to go back. Thank you, Lupe for being so meticulous. 💈 My son comes from the Astoria ( almost a 2 hr drive each way) to get a cut and says that she is so nice and he’s comfortable- that’s important for customer service. Thank you from a mom that’s been a stylist for 20 years. Great cuts and great atmosphere.

Lupe is hands down one of the best barbers I’ve ever been to. Every time I sit in the chair, I know I’m going to leave looking clean and feeling confident. Lupe pays attention to every detail, takes their time, and makes sure the cut comes out exactly how I want it. Not only is the work top quality, but the atmosphere is always welcoming and professional. You can tell Lupe really cares about their clients and takes pride in what they do. I’ve gotten so many compliments after my cuts, and I won’t go to anyone else. If you need a barber that’s reliable, skilled, and consistent, I highly recommend Lupe. 5 stars every time.

What a great haircut and beard trim! Alain is an amazing barber! As a white guy with thin hair it is hard to get a fade to look good on me, but Alain knows how to get it done. Such a clean cut! Great guy, great shop! I will be a regular with Alain!

Alejandro is the man, since I’ve been coming to the shop I’ve felt welcome and taken care of. It has been a struggle finding people that can cut my hair. I have finally found a barber shop worth the money and worth the wait. They treat each customer with respect and make them feel amazing and taken care of. 10/10 recommend!
