Was down in Portland for my wife's work conference, and had to cancel my local beard appointment so we could make it down in time for her first meeting. We looked up beard and barbers in Portland and the ratings don't lie this place was awesome. My beard magician was Girtz and he was amazing. Highly recommend this location and it's worth the drive if you don't live in the city. I'm contemplating making the 1.5 hour drive every few months that's how impressed I was.

Katie is AMAZING! I’ve been struggling to find a new barber since my last one retired. I’ve seen so many people struggle with the simplest high fade faux hawk bc my hair is baby fine. She took one look at the picture I brought in, we spent the next 30 minutes gabbing like old friends, and then my hair was perfect — EXACTLY what I asked for, no notes. Her skill definitely shines when u see how effortlessly meticulous she is all while having the most pleasantly Kiki and engaging conversation. Excited to book her again. Perfect. 5 STARS. No notes.

Time wasters & bad communication - First time appointment. I was 10 mins early, after waiting 25 mins with no acknowledgement from the barber and watching them obsess over a picky customers facial hair, I then realized it was going to be at least another 10-15mins before I would be seen. I chose to leave and as I was putting on my jacket only then the Barber acknowledged I was there. Apologizing that they were running late and asking if I was leaving. Too little too late. As a first time customer communication is key. If you’re looking for a fast service and good communication, this might not be the place for you.

Best Coast Barber has been nothing but good to me every time. Logan is usually my guy but knowing myself, I never book far enough in advance to when I need a cut. The last couple of times I've had their newest Barber, Jade, cut my hair and he did a perfect job both times. He listened to exactly what I wanted but also put his own flare to it and both times I felt incredible. If you need a cut, Jade is your boy! (but seriuosly, everyone there does an amazing job)

Fades so sharp they could slice through sourdough. With scissors guided by 25+ years of experience, and a worldly perspective picked up by European travels, Logan gives not just a haircut, but artistry without the pretention. Your friends will all be asking: "who lined you up??".

Logan is one of the best of barbers in Portland and the PNW! He's been cutting my hair for near 20 years and I always feel like a million bucks after. Shop is clean, warm and friendly, and fair prices. Location is perfect if you want to pop in for a cut and do some shopping or coffee or self care along the way.

I went to several barbers in Portland before I finally found Best Coast. Not only do they offer great hair cuts, but it's so clear how much Logan and the team care about making a positive impact in the community. I love the rotating artwork from local artists, events, and additional services they offer in the shop. And the new location is beautiful! Best Coast is the only barber shop I've ever been to where I feel like I actually want to hang out there. We're so lucky to have this place in Portland.

The best barbershop in Portland! Believe me, I had tried them all. I have been coming here for almost a decade! I don't go anywhere else. Specifically, Logan the owner, cares about his clients and caters to you on a personal level. All the other barbers on staff are well established and skilled in their craft. Definitely try their eyebrow waxing and teeth whitening. It's so nice to have everything in one place. They offer so many services that you would never expect! Book your next haircut, women's cut or wax here, and you won't ever book elsewhere.
