I have received a haircut here before and I enjoyed it, I was having trouble online booking a appointment, I called and left a message stating that fact and nobody bothered to call me back, I understand people get busy but I left a message 5 minutes before opening, how arrogant barbers and beauticians get if you can't book an appointment. No courtesy call back or anything, no such thing as customer service anymore. I guess they're doing too well, they don't need extra clients?

Just moved to Oregon City and lucked out with one of the best cuts and shave I have ever had. Jeff is amazing I booked an appointment for a cut and shave and he did not disappoint. Glad I found my future barber within a week. Jeff operated with a cool hand while navigating my face with the straight blade, not a nic and I tend to have a really sensitive face. My haircut was exactly what I wanted when described. The best part is Jeff is super interesting guy who gave me great recommendations for someone new to the city. Never a dull moment while interacting. I will be back.

May 2025 Update: Been coming here for four years now. I've lived in Salem for three of those and have tried a few Barbers around Salem on occasion due to necessity, but no one compares to Jeff. Jeff is who I drive 50 minutes for time and time again, and never been disappointed. Our recent cut was a dual appointment for myself and my son's first haircut as his second birthday is next month. Jeff was great, he was very attentive, kind and gentle to my son. He explained everything he was doing the entire way, and even had a set of quiet cutting clippers. I can tell from this experience he's definitely had many first cuts over his tenure. Jeff did so great, with my son, he stayed put the entire time and just let Jeff cut it no problem at all. My son's hair is not too long not too short and kept some of the curls for momma. I'd recommend Jeff time and time again. Best Barber around. *Pointer for new parents* Watch a few YouTube videos with your kiddo before hand of haircuts, and then go first so your kid can watch you get a cut, then let your son go--worked like a charm!* Early 2021: Third time here and making it my new barber shop. Always a pleasure and great hair cuts. My last go around I decided to treat myself to a combo shave and haircut. I was very pleased with my haircut (love the straight razor shave on the back of the neck, only place I've ever been to that does this). It had been a number for years since I had a straight razor shave and it was very nice and relaxing. Started off with the hot towel on the face to open the pores, followed by a facial rub of some pre shave balm or lotion which made my skin feel very nice, followed by a good brush down of shave cream or soap (not really sure I was relaxing not really paying attention if it was cream or soap), either way the fresh blade came out next. I love a straight razor shave, the feeling a fresh razor sharp blade sliding across the skin while cutting the morning pricklies feels oh so delightful, especially when the fellow you've trusted your life to knows what he's doing. He was very ginger and was attentive to all the little hard to reach spots around nose, cracks of mouth etc. I thoroughly enjoyed the shave and my haircut came out very nice. It's my new spot and I would recommend to anyone I know. Website is good for appointments or call ahead to make sure you get a spot ☺️💈

Takes great care of your haircut. He takes his time to make sure it's just right. An artist. Nice and friendly without the fluff. Jeff is a good guy and a better barber than 99% of the others who quickly cuts your hair only to get the next person in the seat. Prices are fair and reasonable. Highly recommend. Make sure to make an appointment.

Highly recommend, will definitely be back! Perfect place for a beard sculpting. Atmosphere was classic and welcoming. Offered me a Rainier while I waited. As a person who’s working to grow out my beard pretty long, I’m very particular. To be honest, he knew exactly what I needed before I attempted to explain it.

This place is just awesome! Jeff the owner is so nice and makes you feel at home! Very professional and does a steller job! The best haircut my son has ever got his words he can't wait to go back!
