Been going to Ayman since 2017, save for a few times when I was growing my hair out. Specifically sought out when looking for a barber that was on par with the places I used to know in larger cities without any gimmicks (no "sport clips" esque or similar marketing, thank you) , does straight razor shaving, beard service, can hold non-awkward small talk, and overall consistent outcomes once you're a regular client and dialed in. I'm pretty particular and I end up pretty 10/10 and feeling happy about every visit. This and my mechanic are the two hookups I'll be sad to leave if I ever skip town. Do be prepared to get your schedule lined up, the man is in demand and for good reason - but if you're needing something in a few days he might have a slot open. Often he will send a notification text 24-48 before your appointment so that if you did book a few weeks in advance, a friendly reminder comes your way. You'll be happy you took the time to get on his schedule, and that's coming from someone who's self aware of his own impatience š. Prices well worth it for quality work š. When it comes to food service I took up cooking for myself when moving to Beaverton but I'd pay up gladly to anyone who took their business in service (hair or otherwise) as seriously as Ayman does. I recommend him in real life and not just Google/yelp to anyone I speak with about local barbers.

Very skilled barber. I was a consistent client for 3 years until I missed an appointment on short notice due to the death of my dog. He still has not responded to any texts or voicemails and completely ghosted me which I found to be hurtful and unprofessional.

From reading this review, Iām assuming the take away is that I am an uncompassionate and callous individual based on one life event. The issue is that your review does not give the full picture of your client history and your actions. This is not about missing one appointment. My booking system shows you cancelled on me eleven times. Many of these cancellations were on very short notice for different reasons and excuses. An example of this is your night shift at work. This wastes my time and Iām losing business because I canāt fill that spot instantaneously. I explained this point to you on many occasions but it seems like it fell on deaf ears. When you cancelled on me 11 times, thatās actually 1/3 of the total appointments you had with me. Itās obvious to me that your haircut appointments are not of high priority because you cancel on me at the drop of a hat. To top this all off, you were constantly running late for the appointments you did show up for. At your last appointment with me, you were 30 minutes late because your car was unavailable but I still honored your appointment so I donāt lose business. This obviously puts more pressure and stress on me and makes me late to my next client. This happened on multiple occasions and I maintained my patience and professionalism although this puts me in a tough spot. As you know, Iām working alone in the shop and at the end of the day, my barbershop is still a business and it canāt withhold clients cancelling at the last moment. This is why many barbershops are now charging clients in advance of their appointments so the business doesnāt lose money.<br>I wish you all the best in finding a barbershop that better suits your needs. A barbershop that accepts walk ins might be a better option for you.

Worst experience with any Barber, and I am 74yrs. old. It started when I attempted to call the shop, left a message, and received no call back from Ayman. I was seeking a Barber that worked alone because of my age, and the need to protect against COVID, so I went to the Barbershop in person, and made an appointment for approximately six weeks away, as was stated in his phone message as the next available appointment time. Ayman texted me to confirm later that day, and I confirmed the appointment. Approximately a week later he again texted me to confirm, and I again confirmed the appointment. Two weeks later at noon I received a text from Ayman stating that if he did not hear from me by the end of the day confirming the appointment he would cancel my appointment. I was unavailable until later that evening, and I then texted him numerous texts which he did not answer. Ayman would benefit from treating new clients in a more respectful and kind manner, and not cancelling their appointments without proper notice.

First of all, I did not receive any confirmation messages on my phone from you. I am a solo barber and have a loyal client base that keep my schedule full and busy. This is why I work by appointment and am booked more than six weeks out. As a business, I get a lot of calls everyday from telemarketers or from clients looking for a haircut on short notice (same day/same week) and this is why my voicemail clearly explains to people that I can't take walk-ins or make an appointment for them anytime soon. I value and respect my client's time and so I will not answer phone calls when I have a client in the chair. If I receive any voicemails or text messages on my phone, I respond to them as promptly as I can. I have been in business for over 19 years and my return clientele know this point to be a fact. You came to my shop and interrupted my client's appointment and mentioned to my client in the chair that you were not appreciative of the fact that I am booked so far out. You also said that you left a message and I did not get back to you. I told you that everyone that leaves me a message will get a reply text from me. I made you an appointment. I realized that you did not write the appointment down or put it in your phone calendar. You said before you left the shop, "I am not sure if I can make the appointment, I will let you know." Then I told you, I will text you the appointment day and time to confirm. Quite simply, I did not receive any confirmation messages from you. I texted you on 11/5 and did not hear back. I texted you again on 11/11 and again did not hear back. I'm not sure where the disconnect is but I did my part as I do for all my clients who make an appointment. If you were to text anyone multiple times as you mentioned and did not hear back, that should raise a red flag that maybe that person did not receive your messages. Why not try a different method like sending me an email on my website or calling and leaving a voicemail? Maybe your phone was having technical issues. Best of luck finding a barbershop that meets your needs.

Absolutely the best Barber around - One of the best I've had. I haven't found a barber this good in 7 years - Across Utah, Toronto, and Oregon. I have thick hair, and I generally have difficulty finding a barber who can figure it out even after a few cuts. He nailed a clean professional look first time out, along with a top notch beard trim. Requires an appointment and scheduling a few weeks out to become a client. It is worth it!

Was lucky enough to get into Aymans schedule. Iām absolutely glad I did. The shop is spotless and pleasant. You wonāt feel rushed or cramped because its by appointment only. My first haircut was great, my second one incredible. I will be a customer for life!

A absolutely great Barber! The shop is immaculate and professional! My hair cuts are consistently excellent. I never have to wait or spend extra time at the shop. I enjoy conversations with Ayman and he is always cheerful. He charges a very fair price for excellent service!

I've had 2 haircuts by Ayman at Ayman's Barbershop now, and I have had 2 fantastic experiences. After my previous barber's shop jacked up their prices in a way that didn't make sense to continue going, I found Ayman's Barbershop had the most promising reviews of customer experiences combined with a more than fair price for his excellent work. He is a busy man and works by appointment only, but he will have you walking out afterward feeling confident and knowing that you got exactly what you asked for. I highly recommend to anybody searching for a skilled new barber, stop looking.. You found him šš»

I called to make an appointment and I was able to get one after 4 weeks. It turns out he is so busy. The haircut was worth the wait. Best barbershop in town. Clean and modern. Ayman is a true artist. My go- to barber from now on!! Thanks Ayman!!

I got my hair cut by Timmy every 3 weeks for a few months. I liked the atmosphere of the place and overall I was happy with the quality of the cuts that I received. My big issue is that I had to reschedule every appointment I made except the first appointment because Timmy constantly canceled on me. I always scheduled my next haircut before leaving the barbershop and always showed up on time but it didnāt matter. I donāt mind scheduling an appointment and I understand things come up but when I am expected to schedule an appointment I donāt feel itās unreasonable to expect my barber to not constantly cancel on me. I would have liked to continue getting my hair cut there but I canāt constantly rearrange my schedule on a moments notice and I just didnāt feel my business and time was appreciated. I have since found another barber that does an excellent job and respects my time more.

I don't write many reviews, but after three great experiences wanted to give some credit where it's due. 5 out of 5 for sure. Never met Ayman but Kari's awesome. Been a few times and she's very consistent, the best haircut I've gotten in a long time. Thanks!
