I’m making sure this review sticks this time (don’t delete it Google) because Heather truly deserves the credit! I’ve been to Sycamore twice now, both times in 'high-stakes' situations: once before a big interview and again for my sister’s wedding. Both times, Heather absolutely came in clutch. I have a bit of a mop on my egg-shaped noggin that is notoriously difficult to manage for most barbers, and I usually find uneven spots once I get home and shower. Heather is the first barber I’ve found who can tame it with ease. Her precision is next-level; everything is perfectly balanced and sharp! Not only did I land the job, but I actually felt confident and cleaned up for the wedding photos. It’s rare to find that level of technical skill paired with great conversation. If you need a barber who genuinely knows their craft, go see Heather at Sycamore—you won’t be disappointed!

Ken was great! First cut I’ve ever had in general that it wasn’t too short! Anywhere I’ve ever gone, it’s always been way too short but Ken did a great job and really listened to me with what I wanted. HIGHLY recommend!!

First time going there and what a cool place and great staff. Scott always does a great job on my ugly mug. Just want to update that this staff does amazing work. I came in with an appointment and there was a situation that required them to shuffle schedules. They all worked together to make sure the customers were all taken care of. The owner who cut mine was offering after hours work to make sure everyone was taken care of.....top notch.

Awesome place. Great atmosphere, music, great group of barbers. They have drink if you arrive early or wanna stay and hang and play pool. Kid friendly if your looking for a first cut for the kiddo. An they have a pay if forward board that you can buy a cut to give to someone. Really a great place.

I can’t say enough good things about this barbershop! My child has always hated getting haircuts because no one ever seems to do it the way he likes. This was the first time he left smiling and actually said he wants to go back! The barber really listened to what he wanted and made sure he was comfortable the whole time. The shop is very kid- and family-friendly, with games to keep kids entertained and even a special “kid bowl” with candy and little treasures at the end. It completely changed the haircut experience for us—no stress, no tears, just a happy kid with a great haircut. Highly recommend for anyone with children who usually struggle at the barber. We’ll definitely be back!

Got the chance to sit in the chair myself today and Scott took great care of me with a haircut and beard trim. Being a barber myself, I know the difference between a good cut and a great one and Scott delivered. He made sure everything was on point before I left. What stands out about this shop is that every barber here is talented. You can feel the pride in their work the moment you walk in. If I were ever to work at a shop in Lancaster, without a doubt, it would be this one. Highly recommend!

Came to the Sycamore after a bad haircut gone wrong. My guy Scott got me taken care of, and I will for sure be back. Atmosphere and vibe are fantastic, hospitality even better. They made me feel comfortable from the start. going to bring my son with me next time, and it is so worth the drive from Athens.

Stopped by here after picking my son up from school to see if they would take a walk in. From the second we walked in everyone was so warm and friendly! It was my son’s first time getting his haircut at a barbershop. Matt did his cut and he was so friendly and patient with my son, even showed him his dirt bike out back! The atmosphere is so nice and it’s very nicely decorated inside- I had to ask who did the design and decor! They have big tv’s, pool table, foosball table, and even had a nice selection of refrigerated complimentary drinks! I was very impressed all the way around from the people, the cut, and the aesthetic inside- we will definitely be back! So nice to have a spot like this in Lancaster and not have to worry about driving into Columbus!

Ken at Sycamore Barbershop is the man. Super laid-back vibe, and he always nails the cut. I’ve been to a lot of barbers over the years, and Ken’s easily one of the best. Always a solid experience—great conversation, great cut, every time. If you’re in Lancaster, this is the spot.
