I am a Barker's regular. I could get my hair cut much closer to home, but drive across town for quality, friendly service.

Thank you for a great experience. You took the time to talk through my concerns with my hair, and you gave me the cut I wanted, spot on. I’m glad I found out your shop does women’s hair. Loving my hair again!!! ❤️

Disappointed. Had a little time to get a hair cut. Dropped in and sat for 20 minutes. No one asked “Do you have an appointment?” In fact no one spoke at all when I arrived. No even a Hello. So when a barber was freed up…after 20 minutes…then I was acknowledged. I said I was a walk in. And the reply was simply “Sometimes we’re too busy for walk ins. Can you come back at 10:15…etc). Of course I can’t. I walked in for the time I had available. The business model needs to be either walk-ins or appointments as both do not commingle to make a successful and smooth operation. The closing comment from the nice lady who worked there was “Great Clips is down the street!” I think she was trying to be helpful, but I like to support local business…and going to the “Walmart of Barbering” is not helpful. Or she was telling me not to darken their door again…as I’m sure she picked up on my irritation that they take walk-ins…but only when business is slow. :( Oh well. Someday I’ll find a barbershop that is old school and still values walk-ins. Or just say “Make an appointment”

Wow! For years, I’ve been trying to get a short haircut that allowed me to look and feel like me. didn’t seem to matter where I went or how good the stylist was, I always came out. Look the exact same and was always disappointed. I wanted something of a low taper fade, but nobody would do it. I finally called the barbershop and asked if they would cut women’s hair. “YES we do!” So I went and I was not disappointed. I finally got the low taper fade haircut I wanted from Ally! ladies, don’t be shy; you are welcome here! Thank you, Ally!

I just moved to Hilliard for work, and picked Barker’s because it reminded me of my barber shop back home looking at the pictures - and I can confirm that it gives the same old school barber shop feel. Lisa gave me one of the best high skin fades I’ve had. Conversations around me were entertaining and safe for kids. I won’t need to look around, I found my barber shop. It was a great haircut at a reasonable price.

I almost don’t want to review this gem of a place because I wouldn’t want to not get in but hands down the best place in Columbus!!! All of the staff is friendly and welcoming and really makes you feel at home. Old school barber shop feel and with the skills to match would highly recommend.

Reasonable pricing, convenient location, seamless booking. A few clicks and my appointment is scheduled. It’s that easy. But most of all, a staff of kind, down to earth individuals who seem to genuinely enjoy what they do. I implore you to find me a better barber shop in the Hilliard/West Columbus area. You can’t. Well done.

I just got my haircut by Lisa in preparation for my wedding, that is the best and most relaxing haircut I’ve ever gotten. She got me looking my best! All the staff was very polite and professional, great atmosphere. Feels like your hometown barbershop.

This place use to be good it was an old school barber and it was first come first serve. Apparently their is a woman that runs it now that has her family/friends leave reviews for her. This place now needs an appointment even tho the door clearly states walk ins welcome. Their was NO one in line and only 1 person in each chair and they told paying customers to come back in an hour. Shouldn't take an hour to cut men's hair never has in the past! Time to find a new place

Barkers barbershop is a place I’ve been coming for over 5 years and would recommend to anyone. Mark has been my main barber and he’s consistent and makes sure he does a good job with the haircut. Lisa the new owner is super sweet and a pleasure to talk to! Looking forward to the new renovations they are going to make! Overall a friendly atmosphere and a chill place to be
