Stateboard is irritating however inspector Scott is pleasant and respectful. I appreciate all his insight, advice and up to date information. He eases the inspection jitters by being an all around nice person

I have always had great experiences when I have contacted the Ohio state board of Cos. My questions have always been answered clearly and quickly. The employees have treated me kindly and with respect!

The folks at the board are always helpful and responsive whenever I have a question. Contacting them is easy, their staff is knowledgeable, and they go the extra mile to assist you. Working with the board is one of the easiest parts of running my beauty business. I wish more state government departments worked like our Cosmetology and Barber Board.

I'm not sure if the people that work here ever had to do hair in a salon setting and provide customer service to the public but the way I was just treated when I called with a question would tell me NOT. I called worry a couple of questions not only was she rude she barley even let me get the questions out of my mouth before trying to finish me sentences for me. I was scammed out of money by the 3rd party service they chose touse and she had 0 compassion. It's horrible to try and call for help and the person you speak to has no will or desire to help you at all. So disappointed in Ohio state board.

I have spent the last few days trying to get my out of state license turned over to an Ohio license. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. All my questions were answered and they even went as far as to call me back to pick up my application and application for a permit, instead of mailing them. Probably saved me a weeks time. They helped me with my photo issue and made my experience an overall delight. Thank you!

The people there are extremely rude. It was a hassle to get my transfer license. They don't explain anything about the exam, despite the fact that you obviously learned different things in another state. Which as everyone knows, all board exams are different. When it was time to renew, they don't explain anything about that either. Now, I'm stuck paying all these late fees. And when you try to explain that it doesn't state anything about it, they hang up on you. Really professional. Obviously no ones cares over there. They just sit around doing just about nothing. If you have to deal with them, I feel sorry for you. I'm happy that this will be the last time I have to do this, as I moved to another state.
