I have been driving by this place for years on my way home from work and always seem to forget about it when it comes time to get a haircut. I dropped in at lunch and met Otis for the first time today. Really nice and personable guy, got me in and out quickly and his prices are a STEAL! I will definitely be back.

I love Johnson's barber shop. Classic, old time barber shop that doesn't go out of style. Otis is respectful and courteous; incredibly easy to talk to and knows a lot about music and Columbus. My son had his first haircut with Mr Johnson and both my sons look forward to our visits. You won't find a more genuine person.

Let me just tell you right now you wont find a better barbershop in Columbus, Ohio, or anywhere else in this great union of ours. I went in and immediately was greeted and felt extremely welcome even though I was new. The owner is a grade A guy, kind, caring, professional, and humble. This felt more like a community experience than a haircut. I left with a smile on my face and it really made my day. The haircut is awesome he did a great job, and on top of that he did it for half the price of any barbershop I have ever been to.

I moved down to Columbus and was looking for a new barber. Otis had great reviews so I tried him out. He’s top notch! Very friendly and very skilled. I definitely recommend. Also I went back a few weeks later and he remembered my name?! I was shocked haha. Thanks Otis!

I’ve been going to Otis since he opened 13+ years ago. He’s a great barber, and an even better human being. He may not be hip to the latest trends of the styling world, but if you know what you want, he can do it. Strait-blade neck shave with hot shaving cream and a towel, included with every haircut, is the lap of luxury. All for $12.

I had a great experience getting my hair cut here. Mr. Otis Johnson is a wonderful man who is always ready for conversation and personally gets to know his customers. I had gotten a recommendation to try this barber out by my father, and he remembered my father when I told him. I'm not much for chatter, but I had no problem talking to Otis the entire time he was cutting my hair. He was even quick to answer my questions that I had. As I told Otis as I left, I will definitely be returning here from now on.

Just found my new Barber. The atmosphere embodies that classic barber shop feel. Otis and his patrons are friendly and great for conversation. My first time visiting and I felt like I had been going there for years. The hair cut was great and Otis even uses warm shaving cream and a straight blade to edge up the lines. Couldn't be happier.

I haven't had many experiences at real barbershops but, on my first visit to Johnson's, I felt like I had been there hundreds of times. When I get my hair cut and my beard trimmed, I want to know that the person sculpting my mane pays as much attention to detail as I do. It was easy to tell that Otis is dedicated to his craft and his customers. The cut was quick and intuitive to my requests. In addition, the care and skill applied to the straight razor gliding through warm shaving cream around the nape of my neck was unparalleled. The price was reasonable and the atmosphere welcoming. When you need your next haircut, you owe it to yourself to visit Otis.

Otis Johnson is a fantastic Barber on top of being a fantastic individual. Otis is on a first name basis with everyone who walks in the door, introduces everyone to each other and always has a welcoming attitude and caring character. I've come here for 12 years, ever sense he's opened his doors. He can do anything you need done, from a simple trim and clean up all the way to an old fashioned hot towel straight razor shave. He's more than just a Barber, he's a great friend.
