They give decent haircuts, IF you can keep your appointment. After getting monthly haircuts for roughly 9 years from Blue Star, they've recently struggled to honor appointments. I scheduled an appointment for Nov 5th, at 4:00 PM and upon arriving at their Polaris location, I was informed that they couldn't honor my appointment due to staffing. I understand that these things sometimes happen, although I would have appreciated a phone call rather than having to drive across town to be told. After receiving a few months of superior haircuts from their competitor, Redline Barbershop, I gave them another shot and scheduled an appointment for 10:00 AM on Sunday 2/22. 40 minutes before my appointment, I received call stating that they would have to either cancel or reschedule due to staffing. This issue happening once is understandable. This same issue happening twice in a row to the same customer is inexcusable.

Always great service and a great cut. Dezare takes her time but get you in and out on time. Never have to wait long for my appointment.

A friend recommended this place to me. I’ve brought my boys here a few times, always seeing the same stylist. Today, there was a scheduling mix-up and they ended up with a different barber. I was initially hesitant but it actually turned out great. Now we have two barbers we’re happy with, so we might just start taking the first available appointment since everyone seems to do a great job.

My family and I have been going to the Polaris BlueStar location for something like 4yrs or so now. And by family I mean, my four sons - ages 15 to 25 as well as my grandson - almost 4yrs old. Over the years, the boys have had a number of the stylists cut their hair - all are great - but normally Dani is our stylist. For the grandson and myself, she's the only one we see. Always friendly. The cut is always the way I like it and I appreciate her extra care with a scalp massage during the wash and hot towel. She's caring, makes you feel comfortable and for the grandson, she's one of the very few people he'll sit still for and listen - he enjoys talking to her and sharing stories. The place is always clean, staff always friendly and its normally pretty busy - all good signs of a well run business. Highly recommend.
