I’ve been going to Alfred’s for almost 3 years now and usually see Chris or Colin. From my first trip in to my visit today, I’ve never had anything other than a fun and enjoyable experience. Chris is a great barber and an awesome guy to share stories and catch up. We’ve spent the better part of the last year planning my son’s first haircut and cannot wait to take him to see Chris and the crew at Alfred’s here soon. Here’s hoping my wife is still cool with the faux hawk!

I thought I had found a good barber shop and had previous good experiences. I drive from across town to go there and today running a bit behind. I arrived through the back entrance and came in the open door at 2:42pm this Saturday and thought I just made it. I saw no signs indicating it was closed. However, the first dark hair barber with glasses told(scolded) me in a harsh or arrogant style they won't accept customers after 2:40pm (I was 2 minutes late). Needless to say, I was a bit shocked since I had earlier reviewed at their hours on google (see picture) and it indicated 2:45pm and there were no notes that stated otherwise. I left and then quickly returned to let him know about about the hours listing and he sorta threatened me to get out and came at me with something in his hand so I left. This was a unsettling experience and at no time the barber exhibit empathy in the matter or acted like a normal business and cordially asking me to come back next Saturday. This reminded me of the Soup Kitchen Nazi on Seinfeld that said "No Haircut for you" Now I feel alienated and will need to find another barber shop that's open on Saturdays. The irony is I get a buzz cut due to baldness and it only has take about 5 minutes for the barber to finish. And the female barber that cut my hair the last couple times was just standing in the background without a customer - I thought she was going to take me in but he told me to leave. Kinda sad how a unfriendly and maybe unhappy barber can ruin years of customer loyalty. I will try to reach out to the owner. if possible and let him know about this and I don't hold it against him or the other barbers.

First time in and Andrew did an amazing job. Got a haircut as well as a beard trim and it came out perfect. I will definitely be stopping by again!

Amazing vibe at this barber shop but my three boys went in each with long (~5 inches) curly hair asking for 1/2 inch off all around and they cut of 2.5 inches. Didn’t even cut the sideburns or the back and this is the second time in a row they made each of em lopsided… some barbers there are good but some others should find a new profession. I would highly recommend if you have straight hair but any of yall curly haired folk should find a different place

Stopped in yesterday (first time customer) for a quick haircut - was about a week overdue. Hoped there wouldn't be too much of a wait. Got a seat immediately - first chair by the back. The barber (should've caught his name) did a great job - exactly what I asked for. He quickly figured out I wanted just a cut without a ton of conversation. The price was very reasonable. I'll definitely be back.

I've gotten my hair cut at Alfred's for around thirty-six years, and my son's for over twenty. Up until her eminent retirement, we usually waited for Ronda, who was always the best! When my son was a toddler, she was his favorite and always made him feel special. We've never had a bad haircut from them, and they've always provided the best customer service. After all these years, the staff of Alfred's have become more like family than just barbers.
