I had been looking for a barber in Columbus for a few years now and after visiting A Cut Above The Rest I finally found my permanent barber. I made an appointment and was greeted upon walking in and had a very nice gentleman named Will cut my hair. He went above and beyond with my cut and beard trim and had me looking like a million bucks when I left. The conversation and vibes in the shop were amazing as well. Thank you to Will and A Cut Above The Rest for the amazing service and I look forward to my next cut.

Seen Al.. took my son to get a fade and came out with an Mohawk per my son's request. Long story short we both left happy with they style and pricing. Loved the mural as well.

I've been a client at Cut Above the Rest Barbershop for many years. The Shop is the epicenter of the community in the Mt.Vernon Avenue area and beyond. Al Edmondson who is the Owner gives back to his community in a variety of philanthropic endeavors. Also a great place to discuss current events. If you are in need of a haircut call or stop by.

This was my first visit to Cut Above the Rest. It was a good experience. The shop has a nice vibe. The wait time was reasonable. Usually I don't feel relaxed in any barber shop, but it was all good here.

I've been doing business with Mr. Edmonson for a lot of years now and he's one of the realest dudes I know, he's a man of integrity, honest, generous, he loves his community and gives back to the community he serves. I visited this barbershop for the first time last month and must say that I’m highly impressed. Mr. Edmonson and his staff are very personable and professional. Mr. Dre did his thing and worked wonders with his clippers and scissors. He has gained a new client. I will be returning to this shop in a few weeks.

After a terrible cut,I walked in on a humbel and met Al. I'm so glad I did! he did a great job correcting a terrible cut. Ladies if your looking for a barber go see Al. You won be sorry! Thank Al

Al the owner is great, very friendly and personable. Listened to exactly what I wanted and did a great job. Also got to shake hands with mayor Ginthner. Great experience.
