I've been going to Donny's Barber Shop for close to 2 years now. He learned his craft at a very young age working in his fathers barber shop in Bilbao Spain. He takes his time and is very proud of the work he does. The shop is very clean, and the music is very relaxing. I would highly recommend Donny! Jerry

Donny’s barbershop is a true welcome to the neighborhood. I’ve been going there almost since he opened. It’s great that you can make an appointment or if he has an opening he’ll accommodate you off the street. Donny’s has reasonable prices, and is a very clean establishment. Not your average barber shop, you must make an appointment in advance, he does take walk-ins provided he has an opening. A very personal service is given when coming here. Nice music is always playing in the background, making for a relaxing experience.

Donny is a great barber I travel from two towns over to come and see him regularly. His tape ups are always on point and the prices are great. Thank you Donny keep up the good work! I definately suggest you visit this barbershop.

I’ve been with Donny for almost 2 years now and ever since the first day I met him he was always warm and welcoming and made me feel extremely comfortable coming to his shop! We always have great conversation when I’m there and he really perfects everything he does. Prices are great and he’s always available and willing to work with you on appointment scheduling. Recommend for anyone needing a cut in the Yonkers area! 5/5

I've been to this barber shop numerous times and I love the hair cuts that Donny's given me! I wasn't too sure that my old cut was good so I let him do what he thought looked good. I loved it and it's amazing that you have to set appointments so there is no waiting in a line. I'd recommend this shop to anyone nearby.

This is the first time I am reviewing for a service I used in my life. So there is a reason. This is what happened today. I had an appointment for haircut at 5:30 pm today. I went there before time and he was saying that i don't have any appointment confirmed and he don't see my name. He was just arguing with me. I said I already called in the morning and you gave the appointment. Then only he found my name with time and he agreed to get inside. Basically he was showing his attitude. Then at the end of the haircut, I requested him to take little more at both two sides. But he was like....He was saying that, "are you crazy?, what's wrong with you?, I don't want to do that." If it doesn't looks good, he could talk to me nicely. But he was showing his attitude and irritation. I said, calm down calm down, I don't want to do that. I was totally upset. After the haircut, I didn't even pay him tip which I used to always. Because he doesn't deserve it. I don't wanted to pay tip for his attitude. He always has his attitude. This was my regular barbershop from last 1 year. And I been there like 5-6 times. I don't say his haircut is bad. He was doing good. That's the only reason I went there even if he shows his attitude. But not anymore. I have some friends also used to go there but they stopped because of his attitude. This is not the right way to treat customers. And he needs to learn it. I would not suggest him to anyone.

Update:Over two years later and he still does amazing cuts for my boys! I added current pictures with some before and afters! Thank you Donny First off, my husband cut is his here two weeks ago and Donny did an amazing job. My husband was so happy that we said we are bringing our boys back for cuts. So today my husband took my boys for cuts and they came back looking so cute and the cut was perfect. The styling and technique he uses is above others. He is really talented in styling and cutting hair. Posting a pic of their cuts.

Donny is hands down the best barber in Yonkers. He can fade as well as scissor cut. Not many barbers especially on the south side can do both. He’s very professional, the barber shop is clean, he’s very reasonable with his prices and he’s always on time with his appointments. I highly recommend! Call and make an appointment! Walk ins are hard since he’s always booked.
