Izzy has been cutting my son's curly hair for the past 2 years and does a great job. She used to work at Kiddy Kutz. However, the business moved to a different location. I'm happy I was able to find her, because I have tried others but it was not as great as Izzy's work. She takes her time, very patient, makes sure you are satisfied with the cut before finishing up. I highly recommend Izzy!

We followed Izzy here from another salon and are so happy she landed at Skillman Barber Shop! She does a wonderful job with my 4.5 year old’s long, thick hair. My daughter doesn’t want to go to anyone else!

I only trust Izzy to cut my kids' hair! My son has curly hair and he's very particular about it -- Izzy always does a wonderful job trimming his hair while preserving his curls. She's the best! The kids love getting haircuts because of her.

Izzy is absolutely wonderful! She’s been cutting my son’s hair for over a year now and every visit is a great experience. She’s patient, kind, and really knows how to make little ones feel comfortable in the chair. The barbershop is clean and welcoming and his haircut always turns out adorable. Highly recommend!

All the reviews on here about Izzy are absolutely true. I do not know how I missed this her all these years when my kiddos needed a haircut. I went to so many different places just to realize the best place was in our neighborhood. I will never go anywhere else again! My kids hated getting haircuts in the past but had no issues when it came to Izzy. There is just something about her that makes my kids comfortable with her. Izzy is super welcoming, takes her time, very meticulous to ensure a nice cut and extremely patient with my kids. I highly recommend Izzy for any children’s hair cuts. I will be coming here for as long as my kids need a nice cut. She is also very responsive when trying to schedule an appointment and will accommodate your schedule.

We’ve been going to Izzy's for over a year now, and she is absolutely fantastic! My son is always comfortable with her, which means a lot since haircuts can be tough for kids. She’s patient, attentive, and really takes the time to make sure his cut comes out perfect every time. Even when she moved to a new location, we didn’t hesitate to follow her because the experience she provides is unmatched. She even has a tablet for kids to use while getting their haircut, which keeps my son happy and entertained. If you’re looking for someone who’s great with kids and genuinely cares about her clients, I can’t recommend Izzy enough!

I highly recommend Izzy at Skillman Barbershop (from Kiddie Cutz)! My 2-year-old son is very sensory sensitive and haircuts used to be a struggle—lots of tears and stress. Since we started seeing Izzy, everything has changed. She is calm, patient, and so gentle with him that he no longer cries during haircuts. Izzy truly has a gift with children, especially those with autism (ASD), sensory sensitivities, or even just little ones who are afraid of haircuts. She takes her time, creates a soothing environment, and makes the whole experience so much easier for both the child and the parent. I live in the Bronx and happily travel just to see her because she’s that good. If you’re looking for the absolute best kids’ barber who understands and cares, Izzy is the one!

We finally found a professional who does kids haircuts in the neighborhood 🙏🏻 Izzy was so patient, gentle, and kind with my daughter. My daughter was so happy with her new haircut too!! Great experience and now my 3-year-old son wants a haircut with Izzy too.
