My son found and follows Dom’s videos on TikTok and YouTube. His cuts have style and look great. I have a 10 year old that is very particular about hair however wanted Dom to cut his hair. We’re sad that we now are moving to Australia and will not be able to keep coming. See pictures of the transformation.

After living in the States for 10 years, this was honestly the first time I’ve experienced such disappointing customer service. I’m genuinely surprised by all the positive reviews here. I’ve always passed by this place and thought it must be good. Figured it wouldn’t hurt to try once. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I had an appointment at 12:00 PM and, as always, arrived early around 11:45. The vibe was off. For a place with that price point, you’d expect at least a friendly front desk or some sort of basic communication. The person I had an appointment with seemed completely indifferent. By 12:18, I finally asked how much longer the wait would be because no one said a single word to me. I just sat there awkwardly, feeling ignored and honestly humiliated. Trying a new place is already a big deal for me, but this experience made it unnecessarily worse. Definitely not the warm or professional atmosphere I expected. **UPDATE** Thank you for taking the time to reply. I completely understand that schedules can run behind. I work in customer service myself, so I truly get it. My concern wasn’t the wait, but the lack of communication during that time. There wasn’t any check-in or acknowledgment, which made things a bit uncomfortable. Even a simple “sorry for the delay” would’ve gone a long way. I respect people’s time and always tip over 20% because I genuinely appreciate those in this field. Just wanted to share my honest experience. Respect and communication matter just as much as the haircut itself. I’ll kindly pass on the “make it up” offer, but thank you.

We totally get that waiting can be frustrating — especially when trying a new spot.<br><br>We put a lot of care into every cut, and sometimes that means giving the current client a few extra minutes to make sure their look is perfect. I've been getting my haircut with Faze now for over a year, and let me say he’s the best at what he does. He never fails to disappoint when I get my haircut with him. I met the owner, Rich, and he’s a cool guy to be around and talk to. The place is overall good to be around, with the people and music.

Easily the best barber shop in NYC. Ambiance is A+, Rich the owner is one of the coolest people I’ve met, treats every customer like a king. Faze is hands down the best barber I’ve had cut my hair. I come in knowing I’m gonna feel good and look good when I walk out. Highly recommend this shop to anyone needing a quick fade or a whole transformation.

I’ve started my haircut journey here with Faze over 4 years ago. In addition to the consistently amazing haircuts he gives, he’s super knowledgeable and can recommend routines/products tailored to you for your best hair. He sets realistic expectations in terms of how well a style would work on you, how long it would take to achieve that look, how much effort it would be to maintain. After working with him all these years, I’ve learned to trust the process and have never felt more confident walking out the shop after every cut. Highly recommend Filthy Rich Barbershop and Faze!

Filthy Rich is awesome!! The shop is clean with great energy all around. I brought my brother here for a much needed cut while back in Queens and he loved it. Brandon the barber was professional and took his time to make sure everything was exactly how it was asked for. Really happy we found our go to barber.
