I've recently started coming to MadMen Barbershop on Hillside Ave, and I can't say enough good things! No matter which barber I get—every single one delivers a stylish, on-point haircut that literally makes me smile when I look in the mirror afterward. They nail exactly what I ask for, every time, with zero shortcuts or surprises. The vibe here is unbeatable. The barbers are genuinely friendly, full of energy, and they bring excitement and welcoming conversations that make the whole shop feel alive—whether you're chatting with them or just enjoying the banter among patrons. I never feel rushed; they take their time to make sure everything is perfect. The interior is spot-on—classic, clean, and impeccably maintained with that vintage gentleman’s touch that sets it apart. It's always spotless, which just adds to the premium feel. Thanks to the whole team for the great vibes, amazing cuts, and making every visit something to look forward to. Last experience was absolutely horrendous. Came in at 10 was first in the store. By the time the barber had dolled himself up in the mirror 20 minutes had passed. He was more concerned blow drying his own face then my hair. He couldn’t care less about giving me a haircut seemed more as if I was wasting his time. Won’t be back.

Alex at Hillside Barbershop is top tier. From the moment you walk in, he makes you feel welcome and comfortable. The attention to detail in his cuts is next level. Clean, precise, and takes his time to get everything right. Highly recommend if you want a quality cut and great experience.

I have been going to MadMen for a little over a year, and the service and atmosphere is always great. I got one of my best haircuts from Argy, and have been going to him ever since. He gets me right every time with a clean taper, and is always giving feedback on what he thinks will look good. Argy is the guy you want cutting your hair, a cool dude and a true professional. I highly recommend this barbershop, the barbers will make you feel welcomed the second you walk in the door. Shout out my man Argy, never disappoints!

I recently visited Mad Men Barbershop for the first time, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I walked in, the shop had an incredible atmosphere — clean, professional, and welcoming. Argie did my beard and shave, and his professionalism, attention to detail, and skill truly stood out. The entire experience was excellent, and I left feeling more than satisfied. Having just moved nearby, I’m thrilled to know I have such an amazing barbershop only five minutes away. I highly recommend Mad Men Barbershop to anyone in the area — Argie and the team deliver a level of quality and service that’s hard to beat.

The level of service is amazing, important fact is that keeping with old school traditions, they have a fist come fist serve system, where many shops today are appointment or barber specific. Next !!! All the Barbers are fantastic, Alex and Arjay are Great but Jeffrey is outstanding (my opinion) If details matter this is your spot.

Very kind cool and talented Barbers and will even make you free coffee or give you free chilled bottled water and they do a fantastic job on your hair... plus there's a fantastic Pool Table for while you wait, and the Design is Kind Of Contempo-Rustic with Wood and Leather and beautiful Vintage Accents and Pieces. I love it and considering the price for a cut, It is well worth it. This is a strong reccomend!
