Just wanted to say I love bringing my son to utopia barber shop Gregory does a great job cutting my son’s hair. We have come since he was a baby and we love it everytime we come. He also does my hair now and I love it too, Thank you Gregory 🤗.

Highly recommended! We took our 2.5 year old son here today for his first haircut. He has some sensory issues and Gregory handled it all so well. The set up is perfect - they have screens right in front for the kids to watch videos and be distracted. My son loved the train and police car seats where he was distracted by the steering wheel the whole time. Gregory was thoughtful to ask if my son would be sensitive to the noises of the clippers and how he would handle the blow dryer. The entire experience was amazing for his first haircut. He was having so much fun he didn’t want to leave! And Gregory is an amazing barber- the haircut itself is absolutely perfect! Highly recommend overall and we will definitely be back!

Shout out to Ray he gave me a fresh cut I couldn’t have gotten better if u have the chance come and support he’s got it all his shop got a homey feel to it with sports pics all over the store and comic posters for the kids my brother also enjoyed

Best barbers in Queens. We’ve been customers for nearly a decade and would highly recommend Utopia Barber Shop. Ray, Gregory, Meny and Jacob ensure a welcoming and calm experience, who show particular care and patience for special needs children. In particular we would recommend Gregory who is extremely talented and kind. He is our preferred barber for my son and both daughters.

Not aloud to have one favorite barber,have to take mr. Mongoose, hot towel shave was Luke warm,blade felt used,got Cut, moogoo played it off no sorry, just an "ah O", talking Hebrew,which I don't understand! Very Rude.try to detain me in the chair💺by stupid talk after he was done. (🤔guess for bleeding stoped)had to say, can go now! Wax dosent get everything,but pain.hair cut✂️ok

Hi, I am sorry for your bad experience in the barbershop. We are very dedicated to our job, professional and licensed barbers, which always try and always will give the best service to our customers. I don’t think that whatever you just wrote was true because in my barbershop we do not use old or used blades, all blades are new. when we start shaving all blades come out from a box (new) and when we are done using it we throw them away next to the customer. About talking Hebrew it’s a free country and the barber that was not serving you at all and was not talking to anybody in the shop or to any barber he was just talking on the phone in the back of the room is allowed to talk in his own language which was Hebrew!

I was having a difficult time finding a barber who can handle my son due to the fact he is Autistic. I found this barber shop and spoke with Ray, I was able to get an appointment quick and easy. He did an awesome job with my son and it was my sons first haircut too. His haircut came out great and he looks absolutely amazing. Thank you Ray!

Alene is prompt and attentive, making the experience smooth every time. And I have to say, Manny is the best barber ever! His attention to detail and skill is unmatched. Kind and friendly Barber gave my toddler (20 month old) a great haircut, and so quickly too. Don't hesitate to take your little one here, we will be back for sure! Edit: we returned today with my now 2.5 year old. Another great haircut and excellent experience. I grew up in Whitestone but now live out of state or we would only go here! Thanks again! Came here to get my son's haircut (17 month old) as new customers. My husband and I decided to choose Ray and waited until he was available. Ray was very friendly but did not take his time with our son at all. When 2 more customers came in for him, he rushed our son's haircut and did a terrible job. He butchered his right back side, which is completely uneven with the left (displayed in picture). When we asked for him to fix it, he kept saying that it was good. Will not be coming back to this barbershop in the future. It seems like they chose babies/kids as a target audience cause it's super fast ($25 for a 5-10min cut no matter how little hair) and the baby/kid cannot complain. Easy money maker as opposed to grown adult men that take about 30 mins for a $25 haircut. Edit: Here's proof Ray actually cut our son's hair since he claims we are lying...

This is a horrible haircut, but not done by me! This is Ray I am a mastered barber I will never make such a haircut. With all due respect when you came to give your child a haircut you asked me to do a light color trim and I did it. Before you left I asked you if you like it and you answered “I am happy I love it”. I think you or someone were trying to trim it more and this what happened. Please before blaming on me sit and think who touched his hair. Even in my horrible days I never ever could make such a bad haircut. if you really want to get a real good haircut, come back and we will take care of you!
