Very happy with Fred's barber shop. Been here for my last 3 haircuts and this is my new go-to place. Daniel and his brother whose name escapes me are terrific. Nice clean efficient shop, great haircut.

Some young kid that looked like the owner's son gave me a haircut (Should've asked for his license). Tried to show him a picture, didn't really look at it, just looked like he didn't care. Took him 5 minutes to finish cutting my hair because he was going super fast and rough honestly (pushing my head around hard, digging the razor on my skin hard). Gave a $5 tip on top of the $30 they charge for regular haircut. The owner from like 2 seats away sitting down is complaining and said, "5 bucks isn't even enough for a coffee these days." Basically pressuring and forcing me to tip more like what??? Why would I tip more? Terrible service, didn't look at the picture I showed him, forgot I wanted to thin out the bulk, rushed the haircut and was rough on my head. The AUDACITY to ask for MORE tip. There's better places in town. STAY AWAY from this one.

I love Fred’s Barber Shop. The Guys are awesome. Danny and Effie are the best. Excellent customer service, great haircuts and funny discussions. You have to go there for a great haircut and some laughs!! Best place on LI!!

I’ve been going to Fred’s for 25 years. All my boys, I have 5, insist on going there as well. Even when we moved and tried paces nearer to our home we always end up back at Fred’s. Daniel and Effie are so professional and they know exactly what we like. We are usually in and out in 10 to 15 mnutes which is another added bonus.

Great experience as usual. They are one of the most efficient and consistent barber shops around. I would highly recommend anyone in the area to pay them a visit.

First time going to this place. I should of asked before sitting in the chair. Snip snip snip and 5 minutes later 30 dollars for a haircut. UNBELIEVABLE. WTH do they do to charge that kind of money? ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS. Then this guy has the ⚾️⚾️ to ask for a tip. Good thing I didn't get hair gel. That would of probably been another 10 dollars. Never going here again. STAY AWAY.

So so happy we came here to get my toddlers first big boy hair cut. He had a long “man bun” and I was nervous, to say the least. Daniel was so nice and easy going. He made us all feel comfortable and did an amazing job cutting his hair. Can’t go wrong with either Daniel or Effie!!

BEST PROFESSIONAL HAIRCUT for $30 I EVER HAD compared to other barber shops!!! I would call this a 5 STARS BARBERSHOP!! If you want your perfect haircut, USE THIS BARBERSHOP PLEASE!!!
