I came into Crew Barber (no appointment) with a botched attempt at a self-cut fade and was immediately taken to a chair and FIXED! Never trying to do my own fade again, but glad it led me to give this place a try. Great cut, great service

I recently had an exceptional experience at Crew Barber Shop off the Halsey L train stop in Bushwick-Ridgewood. In a rush to fix a mistake from another barber, I was saved by Crew Barber Shop's top-notch service. A massive shout-out to Manny, the owner, for his incredible hospitality and warmth. His daughter, Zoe, adds to the welcoming atmosphere with her sweetness and top-class customer service, always greeting customers with a friendly smile. But the true star of my visit was Ambiorix. He is nothing short of a prodigy—a master barber with refined skills and impeccable taste. His attention to detail, focus, and determination are unparalleled. Ambiorix’s prolific approach ensures that every cut is executed with precision and care, making you feel like a VIP. Crew Barber Shop is a gem in Bushwick-Ridgewood. If you're looking for a barber who combines skill, passion, and a welcoming environment, look no further. Highly recommended!

I've been getting my haircut with Manny for over 20 years. He opened up crew barber maybe a decade ago and till this day i still get a haircut with him. His shop also is an antique modern and stylish place. He is great at cutting, reliable and on point with all his appointments love coming here and will continue to do so.

This business needs to be on schedule if you say you open at 9 AM on any different platform of service then go by what you establish the time of open for business. Posted 9:30 AM Tuesday. June 18, 2024. MADE THE APPOINTMENT AT 9:30AM!!!

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the appalling service my party and I received at your barbershop on 2.20.24. Frankly, the experience was nothing short of a complete disaster. Despite meticulously scheduling appointments with two barbers for four people, we were met with utter incompetence. One barber failed to show up, and the other, your supposed owner, canceled without the courtesy of advance notice. This left us stranded and fuming, waiting for over an hour before another barber reluctantly took on the responsibility. The inability of anyone in your barbershop to contact the absent barber is beyond belief. It's unfathomable that we were left hanging with no alternative but to endure an excruciating wait. To add insult to injury, there was not a single attempt to make amends for the colossal waste of our time. No accommodation, no compensation—just an outrageous display of unprofessionalism. As customers who expected a basic level of competence and respect for our time, this experience was nothing short of a letdown. It's disheartening to see such disregard for customers who have chosen your establishment over others. I trust you will take this feedback seriously and address the glaring issues that marred our visit.

Only barber shop in the neighborhood that is serious about your time when booking appointments! If your looking for a cheap/rushed haircut this isn’t the place for you, but if you want a fire cut and great service its perfect. Everyone is friendly while also being professional. The environment is clean and gives a vintage feel. Manny is the best barber I ever had and since I first let him cut my hair I won’t go to anywhere else ‼️🙏🏼

I booked a last-minute appt at 4 pm because I decided to give this barbershop a chance. I walked into the place and nobody even looked at me or greeted me. The place was super crowded with kids and friends from the barbers. I waited 35 minutes for nothing. I’m convinced it was a mistake. Super loud music, dirty floors, and clearly poor sanitation. They charge $40 for a haircut, pretty disappointing experience, end up walking out when I was really needing a haircut. Zero customer service, and nobody checked on me the whole time. If you don't mind any of these things I guess this place is for you.

There are probably 2 barbers that are worth getting a haircut from over here at this establishment. BUT YOU COULD never get a haircut from them, it don't matter if you call the day before like they tell you to do. I call at 9AM and there are no barbers available to cut hair. I am realizing this place is where Only Friends of the Crew get Haircuts. I am not a friend ... but I am a paying customer. This is not for the common people to go grab a haircut but a club for the Older Latin Cool kids to talk there ishh. I really try hard to like this place but as time has past it is nearly impossible to grab a haircut when you need one. The ONLY for sure way about getting a haircut is as soon as you walk out the door from getting one by them... try calling everyday for a week until you get an appointment. This place needs to hire more barbers who don't call out sick or go on vacation every week. At the price you pay for a haircut I expected better service here. Maybe I should go next door from the Barber shop to see if there any barbers by the bar who wanna make money and cut some hair. Like I said the two Barbers that are in there are great! But you have to either be lucky or be part of the "In Crowd" to get a hair cut. It's a shame for them because I am an easy 80-100 bucks a month of revenue for them. But a Haircut once a week ain't cutting it for me. (Pun Intended)

The environment is spectacular. The workers are all nice and have great personalities. I brought my two sons here and I will continue to bring them. Prices are fair and the haircuts speak for themselves. Amazing work.
