Matthew the Barber in Pomona, NY is the real deal. He’s incredibly kind, professional, and takes his time to make sure every cut is just right. I always walk out feeling fresh and looking better than when I walked in. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about their work and their clients the way Matthew does. Whether it’s a quick trim or a full haircut, he’s consistent, skilled, and reliable. Definitely my go-to barber in Rockland County!

I have coming here for haircuts on and off for a while. Good barber, convenient location, and usually minimal wait time (no appointment required). Last week, i had a very odd experience. After my son's haircut, when i was paying, he said i owe him for last time also... accusing me of walking out not paying last time. Something about a zelle. I did not have the faintest clue what he was talking about, I have always paid cash, + tip. I responded that he must be mistakenly confusing me with another customer. But he persisted. Extremely awkward and uncomfortable; would not apologize. Good barber, but should learn how to deal better with customers.

The owner, Matthews is great with kids, he is so cordial and responsible. Always pleases my kids with their haircuts. Very professional.
