Fantastic barbershop, but one issue. All the guys there are great and always deliver what you want and ask for, however I've had 2 experiences now with the taller gentleman where the result wasn't near the expectation. I asked for no length to be cut from the front, and a small bit of shaping on the back and sides; I love my hair and didn't want to change it almost at all, but at the end of the experience I'd been trimmed from 3.5 inches, to half an inch on the back and sides; as well as a full inch from the front. I'm sure he gives amazing short haircuts, as what he did for me would be perfect if you have that kind of style, but if you have medium length hair I'd suggest seeing one of the other guys in the shop, as this is the second time this has happened.

I have been going to Sal for years, including at his former location near Panera. I noticed he often drops his brush on client 's heads when drying their hair. I thought this was an honest mistake, until it just happened to me! When I told Sal it hurt, he just laughed and said "It Happens." No apology or anything! This is no way to treat a long time customer. I will never return to this barber shop! Great customer service!

I’ve been a customer for many years . The new location has its own parking lot in a nice location for easy access and the shop has a friendly atmosphere. Sal and his brother and other barbers are always polite and professional. My barber knows how to cut my hair the way I like it .

My oldest son took his younger brother for a haircut, shape up, at this place. This was a big mistake. He was way better before going in than after leaving this place. His shape up was way off, uneven, was not cleaned around neck and this was done by the bald guy… everything all around was uneven. If I pay for service is to get good results not get a mess of a service. Now I have to fix my son’s shape up… will do a better job that the barber. Do not recommend this place!!!

Do not use a young barber (Sebastian) essentially they have two old barbers and one lady. I went there for the first time since my lady barber relocated and needed a haircut (been two months) So I asked for a trim and next thing I know he whips out the razor and shaves off too much on the side and back. So to correct it he has to cut more off the side and top to blend it in. Worse my left side and right side are unequal in cut… Essentially he didn’t understand English and I winded up with a military style cut…at least I don’t have to get a haircut for many months now which is good until I can get referrals to a new place that is good. So bad in so many ways …. $20 cut and $5 tip (I wouldn’t not tip just because he F/:! Up)

A great little barbershop with excellent barbers and the view out the huge garage door windows are simply stunning. It is located midway up a hill and the vista it affords is magnificent. And there’s an ice cream shop right above! Sal, Vinny and team are professional and friendly. Will recommend to others looking for a haircut in Nanuet!

Excellent experience at Sal's barbershop. I just moved into the area and it is hard to find a new barber, however Sal' brother cut my hair in the most professional way and to my liking. I will definitely be coming back here for my next cut. If you are in the market for a new barber, I recommend you giving Sal Santoro barbershop in Nanuet a shot. You will not be disappointed. In addition, this place was super clean and they are following all FDA guidelines regarding Covid-19.
