I always come here with my child to get haircut due to decent price. Unfortunately this would be my last time coming back to this place with my child. I always supported the community for up coming barbers but I am very disappointed how last week ago one barber didn’t do good job on my son haircut my son nonverbal he is autistic. When I ask for Cesar haircut it didn’t look like my son didn’t get haircut at all. Never again I won’t be returning back here with my child.

We sincerely apologize that your recent experience with us was not satisfactory!<br><br>We understand your frustration. Please know that the discounted rate was previously offered at our student clinic, and all of those students have since graduated and become licensed barbers. As a temporary courtesy, one of our graduates, now a licensed barber in the professional barbershop section, was briefly honoring the $10 discounted price (instead of the standard $25) for clients transitioning from the school clinic.<br><br>We recall your previous visits to the barber school for your son's haircuts. It was helpful that you reminded us of his sensitivities during your recent visit. The requested style—a taper and shape up—is more complex than his usual light Caesar (which is generally quick and better suited for sensitive children). <br><br>During the barber's attempt to execute the requested style, your son became restless, which impeded the proper execution of the haircut. At the time, The Owner, who was present, suggested reverting to the light Caesar cut which you declined.<br><br>We would be happy to offer your son a complimentary haircut and fully refund the $10.00 from your last visit. Since we do not have your contact information, please call the school at (914) 664-4960, option #2, to schedule the appointment. Thank you.<br>

Mr. Phaire from Westchester Barber Academy is such an amazing, kind, patient and is extremely helpful. My son took his exam with Mr. Phaire about a year ago and even after time passed he was still available to us and helped us every step of the way in which we required assistance. I am so thankful for him and Westchester Barber Academy!!!!!

I just graduated today and passed my master barber exam. I got lot a things to say about these school and the people. Everything was great! Those people are my family now! I didnt want this school to finish but here we are! I wanna special thank to the instructors Mr Solomon and Mr Dee. These guys are the best! Also thanks to the owner of the school Mr Charney is a respectable businessman. It was a great experience! You gotta join the open house! They provide the supplies, you can take your exam in school by WBA examiner. I love WBA and I love the people who were with me in this journey. God bless you all! Thank you all of you!

I needed to get my daughter a silk press with all the trimmings & received exemplary service by Chandra, the head beautician! WBA came highly recommended and exceeded my highest standards! Whether it be for a haircut or a pampering hair and nails sesh for a mademoiselle, this is THE spot!!

The Westchester Barber Academy volunteered their service at P.S. 48’s Back-To-School Giveback & the barbers did a phenomenal job providing wonderful hair cuts for the students! Such an amazing experience for the families—they were so excited & grateful! Amazing job!

This organization is phenomenal. Not only do they train barbers and hairstylist, but they are a blessing to the community. WBA came and provided haircuts to our school community and the level of care they gave was top notch. We are grateful for their partnership and their service to community.

Westchester Barber Academy brought life through cosmetology to our scholars! We hosted two self-care days at Intellectus Prep and WBA came through to give our scholars hair cuts and hairstyles to boost their ego and their confidence. A bit of pampering is always fit for self-care. Aligned in our missions to provide an experience for the youth and empower them through entrepreneurship, the WBA family brought inspiration to our scholars who are not so far in age. Seeing people who look like themselves mastering a lucrative trade was impactful. Several scholars have now been exposed to cosmetology in a different way. WBA will be a part of all of our self-care days from here on out! A huge thank you goes to Mr. Charnay Phaire the CEO and Founder of WBA. Thank you for all you do for our community!

The students came out to an Easter event in Mt. Vernon, NY, and provided FREE Haircuts for everyone. They are very professional and skilled barbers. They were so courtesy and knowledge about hair. Every client was more than satisfied with their Haircuts.
