My 7 year old Junior has been coming for an over a year. He has NEVER gotten a bad hair cut and he always looks forward to going. Mr. Jonathan is his go to but Jean Carlos also cut his hair last night! Thank you for STAYING LATE to take care of him 🙏🏼 and keeping him looking sharp. They ALL take their time and pay attention to detail. They always ask you if you like the cut and are satisfied or need an adjustment. They give to the community constantly (free haircuts to students in local schools, school supplies, etc) They offer you coffee water and snacks. I was shocked to see some recent negative reviews…. Regarding the complaint about the app and making an appointment this is a VERY busy barbershop with steady clients. So an appointment is ideal but they will do their best to accommodate walk ins. Yes you are asked to come a few minutes early but not demanded. Sometimes people are a “no-show” or running late and they can accommodate you early or they could accommodate a walk in. Regarding not speaking English it’s not true. They all speak English some better than others, either brush up on your Spanish or bring pictures and ask clearly for what you would like. Last clarification Gabriel is VERY NICE and POLITE, I wouldn’t skip a haircut with him just because he answered the text briefly. In person he talks with his customers a lot and gives great care. He is not my son’s normal barber but I watch everyone while they cut hair and his cuts are fire. Didn’t think it was a fair assessment of him. This is a great barbershop so I am happy to take the time and shout out Straight Cut

Made appt for 4pm with Elkin and he was ready to go no waiting. Did my husband justice with the haircut and beard trim 🔥 my man is looking GOOD. Thank you so much. Very patient and listens to what you want. The barbershop has a great peaceful vibe. No cursing, no drama and respectful. Glad we found this place. Will recommend to all. A+++++

The shop is clean and the staff is welcoming. Elkin, specifically cuts the hair of my 4 y/o son w/ special needs. He's accommodating and understanding - as I have to sit with my son - holding his head to limit movement. Unfortunately, on 4/17/25 during our appointment with Jean Carlos; the tip of my sons ear was cut (deep cut) - it bled quite a bit but both Jean Carlos and Adelmy were apologetic and helpful with treating. I did not place blame because I couldn't remember how it happened and didn't want to accuse Jean Carlos. I paid full price for the service and still tipped - leaving the shop with no ill feelings as accidents happen. Now, I did reach out to Adelmy in order to see the footage of the incident but he was unable to send it. He did graciously advise I can visit the shop anytime to see it but we've since relocated so that couldn't work. I did attempt to reach out a few times after to see if it the clip could be trimmed, recorded on a secondary device or uploaded to PVH but I never received a response. Even though the last experience I had at Straight Cut Barbershop was discouraging (and traumatizing for my son), I will admit his cut still came out nice - and I can't overlook the great work Elkin & Juan have done before.

I was a customer at this shop, but after my interaction with Gabriel tonight, I will certainly spend MY money elsewhere. I texted this character because he gave me his card with HIS number on there the last time I visited. I greeted him and asked him when I could come in for a cut. His response was, " Sunday after 3." No, "hello" or "how are you?" But I let it go because it wasn't a big deal. He then tells me to "go online to book him" or "use the app cuz it's easier." Excuse me ? He then responds, "come at 3:15." Nah, I AM good now. I do not beg for accommodations when I am paying you all this money. I am literally texting you and asking for a time slot. Long story short, he is rude and unprofessional. I suggest you all train these barbers on basic customer service skills. I REFUSE to spend money some place with a dude who has an attitude like that. FOH.

About 2 years ago, I had to find a new barber due to the inconsistency I was getting at the last place. My brother recommended Straight Cut, and I've been coming here since. Adelmy consistently delivers quality service, and always surpasses my high expectations.

This place is amazing they took my son immediately and his hair cut came out so good and crispy lines! He even offered us drinks for myself and the kids even my daughter enjoyed the experience. Such a good barbershop love it here , will definitely keep coming here .

I walked in to this place and my guy was constantly checking if I was okay and updating me about the wait times making sure everything is alright. They also gave my nephew a complimentary doughnut. Everyone I met there were nice to me and Killen who did my hair and beard is a great guy. They also have a stopwatch game and if you stop the clock at 5:00:00 you get a free service. I got close but didnt win.. maybe next time haha. The owner was super nice and invited me for a giveaway next week. I’ll definitely visit this place again.

Just had one of the best grooming experiences at STRAIGHT CUT SALON and Elkin did a great job. I’m seriously impressed. I've been taking my three special needs children to Straight Cuts Barbershop for a while. Their barber Jurgens is very patient, kind and understanding with them. He goes above and beyond to be attentive to their needs. The owner of the shop is a wonderful guy who is welcoming and cares about the needs of the clients in more ways than one. The other Barbers are also very professional and helpful and I have seen many happy customers there. The place is clean, well lit, comfortable and has good vibes. The prices are reasonable for the cuts and the experience. I would recommend it. They have appointments available and take walk ins as well. We'll continue to come.
