I bring my 6-year-old son here regularly and he always receives a fantastic haircut. He has very curly hair and they do a wonderful job. Very friendly and very patient! Also, they are quick to take us and the wait times are short!

Best barbershop in the area. Russ is a great barber and runs an awesome shop. Consistently great hair cuts and beard trims. Very competitive pricing for the quality of the hair cut and service. Plus his dad, pops, is the absolute best. 5 stars all around!

Good people the owner is professional he makes sure his customers are taken care of let you know if it's gonna be five or 10 minutes we'll get you. I've been going there since the girl that had that place and you know I forgot her name. I found out that she tragically passed away, but these people moved in after she was gone. I went the first time and I actually had the owner cut my hair and I never look back. I've been going to him for about five years at least they said seven years there now so I've been going ever since.

I’ve never cut my hair really short by a barber and NJ did the job! She has 20 years of experience and was amazing. She can do anything that you want and she was very friendly to talk to and made me feel welcome. I definitely recommend anyone to go from someone who’s never cut their hair short to someone who cuts it on a regular basis. She will give you a fresh cut and make you feel brand new 😀

I have been going to Kutting Edge for about 4 years now. Russ is extremely professional, prompt and friendly. His haircuts are always very detailed and crisp. I’ve changed my hairstyle a couple times with him and he’s always executed what I have in mind. I’ve never waited more than 20 minutes for service. This is great place if you’re looking for a new long term barber or just passing through the neighborhood.

I have been coming here for years. He's the best barber in Howard Beach by far. Russ is a great barber and really knows his stuff. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a haircut or beard trim to come to this place.

Kutting Edge was an incredible experience. I have been looking for a new barbershop for a while and while I don’t live in Queens, I will be traveling here from Brooklyn going forward to see the owner Russ. Him and his staff are incredibly professional and nice. Most of all, they are all very skilled in their profession. I easily got the best skin fade of my life but I’m sure they do all types of haircuts exceptional here. Highly recommend. I will be back.

This shops got it all, great haircuts, great service, one stop for all your needs, eyebrows masks whatever floats your boat, great location, parking isn’t a problem and the barbers are very good, Russ is a master barber the man knows his trade. Love it here.
