I've been going to Central Barber Shop for over 7 years and can't see myself ever going anywhere else. The shop is clean, great location being on E. Hartsdale Avenue with plenty of lot parking nearby and even food if there is a wait. The owner is extremely respectful and his staff are very professional that give great haircuts, and they seem to specialize in a lot of different styles. Cash only and there is an ATM inside.

Great cut Everytime!!!. If you’re looking for something new this is the place. 20 plus years of Barber Wisdom. Any cut no problem. Bennie has a great team of Barbers that always deliver great cuts.

Central Barber shop is the best around no questions asked. Benny and his crew are super friendly and accommodating and of course give great hair cuts! Been coming here for years and will continue to do so! Highly recommend!

i ask for a edgar cut which i told him to cut a just a tiny inch on my hair which my hair was preety long before i even came to the barber shop at the end he cutted my hair !! almost like a military cut !! not only that when he use a blade , he didn't put anything like ! cream so he won't scratch my head but he still proceed and that left a bleed 🩸 on the back of my head as of that my hair was horrible but also charged me 65$ bc my change was only 45$ i gave him 100$ before i even went inside the barber i ask him how much he said 35$ 5$ for the design in my back 5$ to trim my mustache and he said my eyebrows it's in the house but instead he charge me double 65$ he is a scammer don't go to this barber he don't know what his doing !!! he is not professional at all

I live in the area and have been going here for 3 years or so. Have had most of the barbers cut my hair with everyone doing a great job. Like anything, being specific about what you want (pictures) can be helpful to getting it right the first time. They also do a great job with children's hair.

This place is my go to for 15 years plus. Benny is the best and listens to exactly what you want. Don’t sleep on everyone else, any chair will give you a great cut.

Went here for about a year. Tried all of the different barbers in there. Some are good. Some not so much. Unfortunately, I had just walked out of there and the barber messed up the back of my head. He was supposed to square the back but he messed up on the right side and took a chunk off. I purposely kept looking at it to see if he would own up to it but he didnt. I also asked him to hand cut the top, and he only made around 5 uneven cuts and i needed to ask him to take more off. Unfortunately, i will not be returning to this business and wish them the best of luck. Additionally, I have asked other barbers to remove my beard, they trim it all off and just charge me the $35. I informed this barber (that messed up the back of my head) that i just wanted to trim off the beard (nothing fancy). He spent about ten to twenty minutes (more time than he spent on my hair) trimming it off and then charged me $50.
