Yuri and Boris have been cutting my son’s hair for years, since as soon as he turned 3. They are both great with kids, and have a red sportscar for smaller kids to sit in while they enjoy their haircut and a booster in the regular barber chair when they get a little bigger. My son loves going there, they are always friendly to him and make him feel special, and the haircuts are always great. I’ve recommended this barbershop to my son’s friends who are looking for a barber in Great Neck.

Overall the haircut that my son received came out fine, however he wasn't the most patient with my child. He was visibly frustrated that my son moved his head (the buzzer tickled his neck as it does with many children) to the point where he kept throwing up his arms in frustration, stopped cutting his hair and kept telling him to stop moving. I forgot his name but presumably the owner? The haircut came out exactly how I wanted it, but I personally wouldn't go back due to how he treated my child.

Amazing barbershop. Yuri and Boris are amazing at what they do. Very professional. Got a haircut, trimmed my back, sharpened my home knifes and made key copies at the same time at the same place. Doesn’t get any better than this.

Quality greatly depends on who’s cutting your hair, I wouldn’t recommend Benny, he seemed barely conscious. For 40 bucks I got an uneven cut and beard trim, I unfortunately didn’t realize until I got home that he left lots of long hairs. Not the worst, but not great.

This is the best barbershop in great neck. Old School, professionals doing it right. Boris took care of me and I'll absolutely be returning as a loyal customer going forward. It's rare to find a good barber these days who actually knows how to use a straight razor to make you look like a million bucks. This is the place!

Daddy’s Barbershop gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever received in my life. Yuri is an amazing barber and cut my hair exactly how I pictured it to be cut. The service was fantastic and I’m definitely coming here again. I recommend this barbershop to everyone.

The atmosphere was inviting and the service was top-notch. Yuri took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and provided valuable input on what would look best for my hair type and face shape. He was extremely detail-oriented and meticulous, taking the time to ensure every strand was perfectly aligned. Throughout the entire process, Yuri was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. He made the experience enjoyable and I felt like I was catching up with an old friend rather than just getting a haircut. When the haircut was finished, I was blown away by the results. It was clear that Yuri takes great pride in his work and goes above and beyond to ensure that his clients are satisfied with the final product. I walked out of the shop feeling like a new person and received compliments on my haircut for weeks to come. Overall, I cannot recommend Yuri enough. The best barber shop we tried so far in Great Neck. The barber Yuri is so skillful and friendly. Just call the shop before you go to get a spot. The shop is big, spacious and clean. They even have a children seat in sport car shape for young kids to sit in there while they have hair cut. Yulia gave my son a very beautiful haircut and very reasonable price (only $20 kid's haircut)! Other barber shops (exp: Best Cuts Barber shop great neck) we went before have complicated booking process, we need to sign up an account online, book appointment, they keep credit card info, if you're late or no-show, they charge a high no-show fees $16! And it's so difficult to cancel or reschedule the appointment online. Super stressful! They're so arrogant & more expensive!Will never go there again! This Daddy's Barber shop doesn't require such annoying "make appointment online" step. Just call them before you go. They're always welcoming! Highly recommend!

Updated review! (April 2021) First of all, recommended barbers: Yuri and Boris! Never can go wrong! Anyway! Here in Great Neck, this is the only barbershop I trust. I have been going to this barbershop for years and continue to give me just what I want. You don't necessarily need an appointment. Actually, I recommend you just walk in. There is always someone available to help you. The longest wait I've ever had is 10 minutes and that is because it was a day before a holiday. What is great is there is a barber for everyone, whether you are elderley or a guy looking for a new cut or just a touch-up! Everyone is really relaxed and dedicated to their work. Also, they aren't the kind of barbers who tell you what they want to do with your hair. They ask you. And if you need, you show them something on the phone. I've even had the famous Ziggy Stardust lightning bolt shaved into the side of my head to honor the late David Bowie a couple of times. It looks like a classic barbershop and it's clean, always making sure to sanitize their chairs and tools between customers. I stand by this place firmly!
