Been coming to Phil for 2 years. Wizard with the beard. Definitely a gem of a find, only works weekends so didn’t find him initially but happy I did. Book him on Friday and saturdays, you won’t regret it!

I’ve been going to Phil for about a year now, and honestly, he’s the best barber I’ve had since moving to Long Island two years ago. Before finding him, I was hopping around from barber to barber, never really found my barber — but once I found Phil, that changed completely. He really knows his stuff. Super chill guy, great conversation, and the cuts are always on point. Definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a solid, reliable barber!

I first learned of Phil when I luckily came across his instagram page about four years ago. From that, I saw his work first hand, through his pictures and videos of his clients cuts. I knew then, without a doubt, that Phil could give me the style I wanted. And after my first cut with Phil, I knew he was the barber for me. He was very professional, detailed, and very helpful in working with me to get to the cut that I wanted. In the first few sessions he worked with me to tweak the style and eventually we arrived at what i’d call my perfect cut. It’s exactly what I had envisioned, and he’s delivered it with the exact same quality ever since. It’s a great feeling to know I can rely on him to help me look my best whenever I need to, without fail. I get compliments on my cut all the time. I’ve now been coming to Phil for about 4 years and his service is always great. I really appreciate our chats too. Over this time, Phil has been a resident barber at several shops, and i’ve simply followed him wherever he goes. Now that he’s at Steves, i’m happy to go there for my cuts, and it’s even nicer that it’s right by my house. Steve’s is a well known shop and has been around for as long as I can remember. Now that Phil is there, I expect him to bring a ton of new clients, and many new happy customers. If you’re stopping by Steves for your first time, or don’t have a dedicated barber, ask for Phil. He will do you right. He is the barber I trust to always deliver and that’s valuable to me. He is capable of all styles, and uses scissors, buzzer, razor, he does it all. His fades are next level. Overall, he’s incredibly skillful, experienced, laidback, and just an all around cool guy. I’m always impressed by how much he knows and respects his craft. It’s refreshing to see the care and ambition he has for his work. It shows. Ultimately, his work speaks for itself. Just ask for Phil! From a longtime customer, you are in good hands.

I’ve been coming here to get my hair cuts by Phil for 5 years now and let me tell you, it’s been nothing by great ever since! He knows how to get the job done, make me feel comfortable and confident whenever I’m there. Talking, chatting and having conversations along the way with him makes me feel at home whenever I go there. Great service! Highly recommend going there!

Been getting my cuts from Phil for about a year now since I moved, and he’s easily one of the best barbers I’ve had. His attention to detail is on another level - the cut comes out clean every single time, and he really takes the time to make sure everything’s flowing perfectly. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. On top of that, the conversations are always solid. Whether it’s about news, life, or random stuff, he keeps the vibe chill and makes the whole experience feel easy. Never rushed, never awkward, it’s just good energy all around. Barber Phil holds it down. I followed him from Madmen to Steve’s Barbershop. Past 5 years he is the only barber I get a haircut from. Nobody else. Whenever you need an appointment you shoot him a text he will definitely honor it as soon as next day. I can see him opening his own shop one day and he really deserves that. In steve’s barber shop, I only see him working the most. Everytime I went there I see him managing 3-4 clients at once. Setting expectation of waiting times and quickly finishing haircuts while maintaining quality. Really great personality as well, definitely a conversation holder

I’ve been going here for about 2 years now and i have nothing to say but these guys are the best. There talkative and very nice and most of all give great haircuts. I personally go to Roman and he’s only given me the best results anytime i go. Highly recommend to anyone trying to find a barber
